Prospect Radar: Week 5
Prospect Radar: Week 5
Another week of breakout bats, icy starts, and Top-100 prospect movement—both on the field and in the card market.
We stayed grounded in the data: Baseball Savant metrics (min. 15 PA), with an eye on the hobby impact across Bowman Chrome autos, PSA slabs, and early pricing trends.

| Robert Hassell III | WSH AAA | .526 | .842 | .600 | 20 | 5.0 | 2 |
| P.J. Morlando | WSH A | .400 | .600 | .552 | 18 | 22.2 | 0 |

| Jordan Lawlar | ARI AAA | .435 | .739 | .514 | 24 | 12.5 | 1 |
🧾 Hobby Angle
- Hassell III: His 2020 Bowman Draft Chrome PSA 10 auto just sold for $40, rebounding after dipping from $75 highs. A .600 wOBA will get hobby buyers circling again.
- Morlando: No licensed autos yet (coming soon in Bowman 2025), but Leaf Metal pre-rookie autos moved from $8 → $15 after his consistent early-season contact skills. He's a sleeper for us especially after a nice, quick return from elbow surgery with immediate results.
- Shaw: 2023 Bowman Draft Chrome PSA 10 autos climbed to $165 last month, down 23% since—this may be the bounce-back week.
- Lawlar: Despite another big week, 2022 Bowman Chrome PSA 10 autos remain around $250. Hobby entry point or maxed out already?

💰 Quick Hobby Notes
- Mayo: 2021 Bowman Draft autos jumped to $55 raw after the call-up. If he hits, this might look cheap fast.
- Pages: His 2020 Bowman Chrome PSA 10 auto saw a modest rise from $45 → $60 after his hot stretch. He is lighting it up!
- Sproat: 2023 Sapphire autos cooled to $35, but scouts still like his profile. Buy low if you believe in Mets pitching dev?
That’s a wrap on Week 5.
🔥 The data tells us who’s hot.
