Bowman Spotlights: May 10th Hot Sheet
Eight more days of minor league baseball since the last Spotlights piece. The Triple-A leaderboard is the story this week. Five of the six names below played at AAA, and the sixth (Dreiling) is the kind of AA bat that forces a promotion conversation. Plus a fresh callup tracker with five new graduates added to the cohort.
Henry Bolte
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Team / Level | OAK / Triple-A Las Vegas |
| Age | 22 |
| Org Rank | A's #5 |
| 2026 Last 7 Days | .571/.586/1.321, 5 HR, 9 RBI, 3 SB, 1 BB, 3 K in 6 G |
| 2026 Season | .351/.419/.669, 12 HR, 28 RBI, 16 SB, 17 BB, 38 K in 36 G at AAA |
| 1st Bowman | 2022 Bowman Draft (CDA-HB) |
| Current Raw / PSA 10 | $176 / $526 |
Bolte hit a 479-foot home run last week. That is the longest home run hit at any level of professional baseball in 2026, including the majors. He added four more on top of that. Five home runs in six games at AAA, .571 average, plus three steals. The week is hard to ignore.
The longer profile is also real. Bolte was a 2nd-round pick by the A's in 2022 out of the Texas high school circuit. The tools were always loud (plus speed, plus arm, 70-grade raw power) but the strikeout rate was the question. He K'd 28.9% of the time across AA and AAA last season. The 2026 line is: .351 average, 16 steals, and 12 home runs in 36 AAA games. Manager Mark Kotsay called him a potential star this spring. He is now the A's #5 prospect on most lists.
The Bolte raw auto doubled this week. $86 yesterday, $176 today. That is not a typo. The 479-foot home run went viral, the AAA line went viral, and the auto market followed in 24 hours. Wild stuff.
I used to own Bolte. I sold the position last year when the contact concerns showed up at AA. I clearly got this guy wrong, because he is now putting up the loudest week of any prospect in baseball and I am not holding any of it. But I would still be selling here if I had the cards. A's outfielders with strikeout questions are exactly the profile where the hobby pays you for the AAA hot streak and then walks away when the K rate finds them again at MLB. $176 raw on a 2022 Bowman Draft auto for a guy unranked on most Top 100s is the kind of viral spike that does not hold. The PSA 10 at $526 is even richer. Getting the call right on the draft year is not the same as getting the call right on this price. Take the win, recycle the capital.
Edwin Arroyo
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Team / Level | CIN / Triple-A Louisville |
| Age | 22 |
| Org Rank | Reds #6 |
| 2026 Last 7 Days | .615/.655/1.154, 3 HR, 10 RBI, 2 BB, 2 K in 6 G |
| 2026 Season | .346/.415/.588, 7 HR, 28 RBI, 5 SB, 17 BB, 29 K in 37 G at AAA |
| 1st Bowman | 2021 Bowman Draft (CDA-EA) |
| Current Raw / PSA 10 | $30 / $30 |
Arroyo is the comeback story of the week. He was a 2021 2nd-round pick (48th overall) by Seattle, traded to Cincinnati in the Luis Castillo deal, and had been the consensus top-100 Reds shortstop until a labrum surgery in spring 2024 derailed everything. He missed essentially the entire 2024 season. The 2025 return at AA was modest. The bat looked slow.
The 2026 AAA line is the bat reappearing. .346 with seven homers in 37 games, .415 OBP, four hits and four RBI in a single game last weekend. Cincinnati now has a real decision coming because Elly De La Cruz is the major league shortstop and Matt McLain is the second baseman. Arroyo at AAA is the kind of pressure point that forces a roster move or a trade.
I have never owned Arroyo. The price is the most interesting part here. Raw and PSA 10 are both around $30, which is essentially the floor. The 2021 Bowman Draft auto market has been graveyarded for two years on his name. If he keeps producing and the callup conversation gets real in June or July, the entry price right now is hard to beat. Not a personal-collection name for me, but the math on a flip works at $30. There is very little downside left.
Jimmy Crooks
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Team / Level | STL / Triple-A Memphis |
| Age | 24 |
| Org Rank | Cardinals #6 |
| 2026 Last 7 Days | .294/.500/.941, 3 HR, 6 RBI, 6 BB, 3 K in 5 G |
| 2026 Season | .272/.419/.650, 12 HR, 27 RBI, 22 BB, 38 K in 29 G at AAA |
| 1st Bowman | 2022 Bowman Draft (CDA-JC) |
| Current Raw / PSA 10 | $36 / $58 |
Crooks is a catcher hitting 12 home runs in 29 AAA games. That is the headline. Twelve homers in May for a catcher is a top-of-the-organization stat line. Six walks against three strikeouts last week and a 1.441 OPS for the week even with a "modest" .294 average. The plate discipline is the loudest part of the line.
Crooks got a 46-PA cup of coffee with St. Louis last September and slashed .133. Then he was sent back to AAA to start 2026 and has been the best hitter in Memphis. The Cardinals catching room (Pages, Herrera) has not produced. The blocker is roster, not performance, and that always sorts itself out.
I have never owned Crooks. The auto sits at $36 raw, $58 PSA 10, which prices in basically zero callup expectation. The catcher discount is real and usually wrong. If St. Louis decides their lineup needs the guy hitting .272 with a .419 OBP and 12 HR over the guy hitting .220 with no power, that price triples in a week. I am not buying for the PC, but the asymmetric setup is there at the current entry point.
Zac Veen
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Team / Level | COL / Triple-A Albuquerque |
| Age | 24 |
| 2026 Last 7 Days | .467/.636/.733, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 3 SB, 7 BB, 5 K in 5 G |
| 2026 Season | .296/.410/.452, 4 HR, 23 RBI, 9 SB, 23 BB, 32 K in 32 G at AAA |
| 1st Bowman | 2020 Bowman Draft (CDA-ZV) |
| Current Raw / PSA 10 | $60 / $196 |
Veen is the most complicated name on this list. Top-50 prospect coming out of 2020 (the 9th overall pick by Colorado), then a four-year stretch of injuries, contact problems, and the public disclosure earlier this year that he had been working through significant substance abuse issues during his pro career. He came back from a knee contusion to AAA in early April and has been a different hitter. Sober, focused, and posting a .410 OBP with seven walks against five strikeouts last week.
The Rockies outfield is the easiest path to a callup of any organization in baseball. There is nothing blocking him at the major league level. His Bowman Draft auto from 2020 has been beaten down for years (was higher than this back when he was a Top 50 prospect) and the current $60 raw / $196 PSA 10 prices in essentially nothing.
I do not own Veen. The story is compelling and the production is real, but the long history of false starts is the reason I am still on the sidelines. I am watching, not buying. If he gets the callup and the bat translates to the majors, the price moves. If he stalls again, this is exactly the profile where the auto market never recovers. The risk profile here is unique among the names on this list.
Dylan Dreiling
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Team / Level | TEX / Double-A Frisco |
| Age | 23 |
| 2026 Last 7 Days | .368/.520/1.000, 4 HR, 8 RBI, 1 SB, 6 BB, 1 K in 5 G |
| 2026 Season | .300/.398/.511, 6 HR, 21 RBI, 4 SB, 16 BB, 21 K in 23 G at AA |
| 1st Bowman | 2024 Bowman Draft (CPA-DD) |
| Current Raw / PSA 10 | $12 / $53 |
Dreiling is the cheap entry. 2024 2nd-round pick by Texas (65th overall) out of Tennessee, where he was the College World Series Most Outstanding Player after hitting a home run in each of the three championship games. Pro debut in 2024 at High-A was a struggle (.198 in 24 games). 2025 at High-A was modest improvement (.226/.319/.381). The college pedigree was outpacing the pro production.
The promotion to AA Frisco in 2026 has flipped the script. Six walks against one strikeout last week. Four home runs in five games. .300 average, .398 OBP, 1.520 OPS for the week. The discipline is what was always going to be the leading indicator with him (career college walk rate of 18.5%) and that part is showing up.
I own some Dreiling and I am looking to list soon. The $12 raw price is a lot of upside for a name that was forgotten three months ago, but I want to take some off the top into the AA-hot-streak window before the AAA promotion conversation cools the price action. The playbook here is to sell the AA breakout, not the AAA debut. Texas is a deep system and the path to the majors runs through the same outfield jam that has Wyatt Langford trying to hit. By the time Dreiling sniffs MLB, this auto could be priced as a backup outfielder, not a riser. Take some chips off the table.
RJ Schreck
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Team / Level | TOR / Triple-A Buffalo |
| Age | 25 |
| Org Rank | Blue Jays #9 |
| 2026 Last 7 Days | .522/.621/1.000, 2 HR, 12 RBI, 4 BB, 4 K in 6 G |
| 2026 Season | .224/.372/.422, 5 HR, 23 RBI, 3 SB, 24 BB, 23 K in 36 G at AAA |
| 1st Bowman | 2025 Bowman Chrome (CPA-RSC) |
| Current Raw / PSA 10 | $10 / $38 |
Schreck is the deep value bet. 2023 9th-round pick by Seattle out of Vanderbilt, traded to Toronto in the 2024 Justin Turner deal, and his 1st Bowman auto landed in 2025 Bowman Chrome. The 2025 line at AA/AAA was .249/.395/.459 with 18 home runs and a 143 wRC+. The discipline has been there for two years (70 walks in 2025, 24 walks against 23 strikeouts in 2026).
The 2026 season started slowly (.224 average) but the last week reset everything. Twelve RBI in six games. Five doubles and two homers. Four walks against four strikeouts. He is now slugging 1.000 in the last week and pulling his season SLG up.
I do not own Schreck. The 2025 Bowman Chrome 1st auto at $10 raw is the cheapest active 1st Bowman on this list and one of the cheapest top-10-org auto markets on a 25-year-old AAA bat. At this price the math is asymmetric. If he gets to Toronto and produces, $10 becomes $50 fast. If he doesn't, $10 is barely more than break-spot.
Carryover: Mike Sirota Stays Hot
The featured Spotlights name from May 2 stayed productive in week one of the followup window. Three games last week at High-A Great Lakes, .385/.579/.692, 1 HR, 4 RBI, six walks against five strikeouts, three steals.
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Team / Level | LA / High-A Great Lakes |
| Rank | #52 Overall |
| Last 7 Days | .385/.579/.692, 1 HR, 4 RBI, 3 SB, 6 BB, 5 K in 3 G |
| 2026 Season | .337 AVG, 7 HR, 19 RBI in 24 G with a 27-26 walk-to-strikeout ratio |
The full season line is now .337 with 7 HR and a 27-26 walk-to-strikeout ratio across 24 games. Sirota was the centerpiece of the May 2 piece for a reason. The hobby buzz has held, the production has held, and a promotion to AA Tulsa is the next obvious data point. I still believe the playbook on him is to ride into the promotion announcement and decide then.
The Rest of the Leaderboard
A few more 1st Bowman names worth flagging from the past seven days, ranked by performance and hobby relevance.
Eduardo Quintero (LA, High-A, #25 Overall). .529/.667/.824, 1 HR, 3 SB in 5 G. The other Dodgers outfielder turning a top-5 OPS week. Featured as honorable mention in the May 2 piece and still hitting.
Robby Snelling (MIA, AAA, #34 Overall). 2.77 ERA / 0.85 WHIP at AAA so far in 2026 with 22 K in 13 IP. The next obvious arm in the callup tracker if the Marlins decide they need rotation help.
Cooper Pratt (MIL, AAA, #55 Overall). .455/.552/.818 in 7 G last week. AAA shortstop in a Brewers system that consistently produces big-league regulars.
Callup Tracker: December to Now
The full price arc for every callup in the 2026 cohort, including four new graduates added since the May 2 piece (Yesavage, Eldridge, Bazzana, Tolle). Dec/Jan is the early-winter baseline. Pre-Callup is the price in the week or two before the roster move. At Debut is the price during the call-up window itself. EOA is the End of April Check-In number from April 24. May 2 is the Early May Check-In number. Now is May 10. The delta is calculated against the at-debut price.
| Prospect | Dec/Jan | Pre-Callup | At Debut | EOA (4/24) | May 2 | Now (5/10) | Δ vs Debut |

| Justin Crawford | $100 | $18 | $125 | $100 | $64 | $56 | -55% |
| Samuel Basallo | $135 | $166 | $207 | $102 | $93 | $144 | -30% |
| Trey Yesavage | $132 | $172 | $263 | $239 | $175 | $169 | -36% |
| Bryce Eldridge | $155 | $171 | $144 | $197 | $143 | $148 | +3% |
| Travis Bazzana | $115 | $175 | $225 | $178 | $223 | $211 | -6% |
| Spencer Jones | $310 | $217 | $390 | $281 | $259 | $390 | flat |
| Payton Tolle | $85 | $65 | $117 | $64 | $103 | $126 | +8% |
Caissie's at-debut price is from a noisy single-listing snapshot the day of the move. The pre-callup price ($128) is more representative of the actual market around the callup window.
Reading the Tracker
A few things worth pulling out of this update.
The strongest holds are the names producing in the majors. Andrew Painter is +102% versus debut. Connelly Early is +72%. Griffin added another $175 in eight days and is now +35% versus debut. The names that have produced over their first MLB stretch are pulling away from the rest of the cohort.
Sal Stewart is the fastest fader on the original cohort. $358 on May 2 to $240 on May 10 is a -33% move in eight days. The on-field production has not matched the callup hype, and the auto market is correcting. This is the playbook for selling into the debut. The names that hold value are the ones whose first 30 MLB games look like callup hype was earned. The names that don't get marked down hard.
Bubba Chandler bounced. $91 May 2 low to $164 today, a +80% move on no real news. Same general pattern with Basallo ($93 to $144). Two of the cohort's worst spring stories are getting bid back up, presumably on the assumption that the worst is priced in. I am not playing either name. The hobby has memory and these prices include a lot of "the bad news already happened" optimism that is hard to bet on.
Spencer Jones is a clean test of debut-pricing efficiency. $390 raw at debut is what the market thinks a 6'7" Yankees prospect with 11 HR at AAA and a 30%+ MLB strikeout risk is worth. He went hitless with two K's in his debut on May 8. The next two weeks of MLB at-bats are going to settle this either near $200 or near $600. Almost no scenario keeps him at $390.
The new May graduates are at the priced-in stage. Eldridge at $148, Bazzana at $211, Tolle at $126. None of these are screaming bargains, none are screaming sells. The early MLB performance for each of them is the next data point, and these prices reflect that the market thinks the production will be fine. Bazzana hitting his first MLB homer May 8 helped. The next 60 PA matters more than this week's PA.
Yesavage is the cautionary graduate. Officially graduated in April, debuted clean (5.1 IP / 3 K / 0 BB / 0 ER), but the auto has bled from a $263 callup spike to $169 now. Top-10 overall prospect, MLB-ready production, and the price has still given back a third. This is the warning sign on selling too late. Even good performance from a good prospect at a good price can fade if the broader cohort cools at the same time.
Tolle is quietly performing. +8% versus debut, driven by his recent 7 IP / 8 K MLB outing. The Boston rotation needed a story and he is becoming one. Auto at $126 still leaves room before the price gets bid up further.
I will keep updating this tracker every week or two. The May graduate class is going to keep generating price action through the rest of the month.
