2026 Topps Star Wars Chrome Galaxy: The Complete Odds, Parallel, and Print Run Breakdown

2026 Topps Star Wars Chrome Galaxy: The Complete Odds, Parallel, and Print Run Breakdown

2026 Topps Star Wars Chrome Galaxy released August 12. Topps' odds sheet runs 110 lines in a single hobby column, with odds per pack and no print runs. Eleven SuperFractor lines put the run at 887,544 packs, which is 49,308 boxes or 4,109 cases, about 3.55 million cards. From there the sheet backs up the print runs in our data on every base and insert ladder and puts a count on every card that carries no print run. It also turns up one ladder that doesn't fill: the Galaxy Autographs Atomic, Wave, Mojo and Orange lines put in packs only 13 to 54 percent of what their listed runs would print across all 61 signers.

The box

Topps' product page lists 4 cards per pack and 18 packs per box, 72 cards, with 4 Chrome parallels per box and autographs falling one per case. Cases hold 12 boxes. The hobby box is the only format on the page, and hobby is the only column on the sheet.

Add up the sheet's lines and here's what an average box holds:

Force Energy, any version0.09
Topps Chrome Layers Original Art, any version0.05
ComicFractor, any version0.02
Sketch cards0.25
Autographs0.12

The 4 Chrome parallels on Topps' page most likely mean the numbered ones. Numbered and one-of-one lines across the base and insert ladders add up to 3.98 a box, while the Refractor and Mini-Diamond alone are 12.

The five art sets each come to one per box, and that's a good way to read the rest. Force Energy and Original Art Puzzle Cards, at 1:216, each come to one per case in the versions with no color. Counting every version, Original Art Puzzle Cards come to 1.34 a case and Force Energy to 1.10. Topps Chrome Layers Original Art, at 1:432, is one every two cases, and ComicFractor, at 1:1,080, is one every five.

Topps' one autograph per case runs on the low side. All the autograph lines add up to 1.38 a case, one every 8.7 boxes or every 156 packs. Galaxy Autographs make up nearly all of it, at 1.34 a case. A Dual Autograph of any version is about one in 457 boxes, a Triple one in 1,298 and a Quad one in 2,465. Sketch cards are more than twice as common as autographs, about three a case, the number on Topps' sell sheet, or one in every four boxes.

The checklist

Topps' checklist runs 322 numbered cards in 14 sections, plus sketch cards from 217 artists.

The base set is 100 cards of artwork, from The Mandalorian's Escape (#1, Claudio Aboy) to Grogu Reaches Out (#100, Brent Woodside). Topps says it mixes Star Wars Galaxy art from years past with new illustrations. Eight cards are credited to Archives. The artists include Ralph McQuarrie (Rebel Base, #84), Dave Dorman (three cards), Terese Nielsen (#69) and Phil Noto (#77).

The inserts, each from one artist unless noted:

  • Art of the Dark Side, 15 cards by Taurin Clarke, from Anakin Skywalker to Count Dooku.
  • Art of Rogue One, 15 by Traci Easterday, from Jyn Erso to Leia Organa, for the film's 10th anniversary.
  • Duel on Cloud City, 15 by Christian Benavides, telling the Luke and Vader fight from Confronting Darth Vader to "I Am Your Father".
  • Galactic Anthology, 15 by Danny Schlitz, from Chewbacca and BB-8 to Asajj Ventress.
  • Art of Knights of the Old Republic, 15 by Gal Or, from Bastila Shan to Darth Revan. (Topps' checklist heads this one Art of Knights of the Republic. Its odds sheet and product page have it right.)
  • Force Energy, 10 by Shane Grammer, a new insert, from Obi-Wan Kenobi to Ahsoka Tano.
  • Topps Chrome Layers Original Art, 11 by Doug Chiang, from Opee Sea Killer Hunts the Gungan Submarine to The Mudhorn.
  • ComicFractor, five by John Tyler Christopher, numbered VC-16 to VC-20: Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo in an Imperial Stormtrooper outfit and an Imperial TIE Fighter Pilot.
  • Original Art Puzzle Cards, 36 cards in four groups of nine, by Aurelio Lorenzo, Erik Maell, Joe Corroney and Uzuri.

There are 85 autograph cards carrying 128 signatures from 84 signers, since the Dual, Triple and Quad cards have two, three and four:

  • Galaxy Autographs, 61 signers, among them Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Natalie Portman, Pedro Pascal, Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor, Samuel L. Jackson, Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver. Lizzo is listed as The Duchess, and Ron Howard simply as Director.
  • Dual Autographs, 10 cards of two, among them Ian McDiarmid and Hayden Christensen, Pedro Pascal and Ming-Na Wen, and Keira Knightley and Ewan McGregor.
  • Triple Autographs, nine cards of three, among them Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels and Harrison Ford.
  • Quad Autographs, five cards of four, among them Jeremy Bulloch, David Prowse, Harrison Ford and Billy Dee Williams.

Eleven signers are on three cards each, Ford, Ridley, Pascal and McGregor among them.

The base ladder

Odds per pack. Topps' odds sheet prints no serial numbers, so the print runs below are the ones in our data, which match Topps' sell sheet, and the odds check them.

X-Fractor/101:930
Red Refractor/51:1,861
Star Wars Red LogoFractor/51:1,861
SuperFractor1/11:9,343

Counting every color, there are 1,445 numbered copies of each base card, from the Magenta Lava /250 down to the SuperFractor.

Every tier is spread over the same 100 cards, so if the runs are right, run times odds times 100 should come out the same. The Atomic, Prism, Mojo, Orange and X-Fractor all land on exactly 930,000 (150 x 62 x 100, 75 x 124 x 100, 50 x 186 x 100, 25 x 372 x 100 and 10 x 930 x 100). The Wave comes to 930,600, the LogoFractor to 931,700 and both /5 lines to 930,500. The lines from the Magenta Lava to the Purple Speckle are too short to read that closely, and they land between 925,000 and 945,000. A wrong run would stick out: a /75 LogoFractor would point to 907,500 and a /20 Orange to 744,000. So the runs in our data hold, the unusual /77 included.

That 930,000 isn't the pack count, though. More on that below.

The inserts

The five art sets match line for line. Odds per pack, the same on Art of the Dark Side, Art of Rogue One, Duel on Cloud City, Galactic Anthology and Art of Knights of the Old Republic:

These are seeded just like the base ladder. Over 15 cards, 199 x 312 x 15 is 931,320, 50 x 1,240 x 15 is 930,000 and 10 x 6,207 x 15 is 931,050. A numbered version of any one set turns up about once every 4.4 boxes.

The short ladders, odds per pack:

ComicFractor (5)1:1,0801:7,4591:18,4911:36,9811:177,509

Every numbered tier here lands within about 1 percent of the same 930,000: 25 x 1,034 x 36 is 930,600, 10 x 8,453 x 11 is 929,830 and 25 x 7,459 x 5 is 932,375. So those runs hold too.

Some lines match across sets because they count the same number of cards. Force Energy Red and ComicFractor X-Fractor are both 1:18,491, 48 cards each. Force Energy X-Fractor and the base SuperFractor are both 1:9,343, 95 cards each.

The autographs

Galaxy Autographs, 61 signers, odds per pack. The last columns compare the cards the odds put in packs with what the run in our data would print across all 61:

VersionPrint run in our dataOddsIn packsAt that run, all 61Share

Red Refractor/51:3,06129030595%
SuperFractor1/11:14,793606198%

The Red fits and the four colors above it don't. The Red lands with the other /5s in the product, and the Pedro Pascal at the top of this piece is a Red numbered 1/5. But the Atomic through Orange odds sit within about 1.4 times of each other while their runs differ sixfold. With every signer at those runs, the Atomic would read about 1:102 and the Orange about 1:610, not 1:763 and 1:1,076.

The runs themselves look right. Topps' sell sheet lists Atomic /150, Wave /99, Mojo /50 and Orange /25 for Galaxy Autographs, and the sell sheet and product page both show a sample of Lizzo as The Duchess numbered 01/25. So the likelier reading is that the colors cover only some signers: roughly 8 signers' worth at /150, 10 at /99, 18 at /50 and 35 at /25, which Topps' note on the sheet allows, since a subject on the checklist isn't guaranteed to appear in every parallel. The other reading is that many signers carry much shorter runs than the ladder shows, since the cards in packs come to about 19, 16, 14 and 13.5 per signer if spread evenly. One sample card can't rule that out, so we've left the runs in our data alone until more serial numbers turn up. Either way, these four lines are far scarcer than a /150 or a /99 on a 61-card set would suggest.

About three Galaxy Autographs in four come from a numbered or one-of-one line (about 4,170 of 5,520).

The multi-signer sets, odds per pack:

Set (cards)No colorRed /5SuperFractor
Dual Autographs (10)1:18,1141:18,1141:88,755
Triple Autographs (9)1:30,605-1:98,616
Quad Autographs (5)1:59,170-1:177,509

These fit only when they're counted by cards, not names. The SuperFractor lines work on 10, 9 and 5 cards. Counted by the 20, 27 and 20 names on the checklist, they'd point to two, three and four times the pack count.

The two Dual lines above the SuperFractor are identical, to the pack. Each comes to 49 cards, so the Red puts 49 of 50 in packs and the version with no color has about five of each card. Either the no-color Dual is really that short or the line was carried over from the Red.

How many packs the sheet covers

The SuperFractor lines are the key. A one-of-one line counts copies directly, so its odds times the cards in its set is the pack count, if every one of them is in a pack:

LineCardsOddsCards x odds
Triple Autographs SuperFractor91:98,616887,544
ComicFractor SuperFractor51:177,509887,545
Quad Autographs SuperFractor51:177,509887,545

Dual Autographs SuperFractor101:88,755887,550
The five art sets' SuperFractors151:59,170887,550

This sheet rounds up, not to the nearest pack. One every 88,754.4 packs is printed 1:88,755, where the nearest would read 1:88,754, and the Galaxy Autographs SuperFractor is one every 14,792.4, printed 1:14,793. Rounded up, those 11 lines leave room for only 887,541 to 887,544 packs, and 887,544 is the only one of those that makes whole boxes. It makes whole cases too.

So the sheet is figured on 887,544 packs: 49,308 boxes of 18, 4,109 cases of 12, and at 4 cards a pack about 3.55 million cards. That's the count Topps worked the odds out on, what its note on the sheet calls the intended configuration. The run that actually gets packed out can differ a little.

Rounding up fits all 57 lines on the sheet from 1:1,000 on up, while rounding to the nearest pack misses at least 13 of them at any pack count. It also means the 1:18 comes to at least one per box (887,544 divided by 18 is 49,308) and the 1:216 at least one per case (4,109). And it means the counts in this piece are floors. On long lines that makes no difference, but on short lines the real count can run a little higher.

Not every numbered card is in a pack

If every SuperFractor on those 11 lines is in a pack, here's what the odds put in packs on each ladder:

Ladder (cards)Orange /25X-Fractor /10Red /5SuperFractor
Base (100)about 2,390 of 2,500955 of 1,000477 of 50095 of 100

Force Energy (10)239 of 25095 of 10048 of 5010 of 10
Original Art Puzzle Cards (36)859 of 900343 of 360172 of 18035 of 36
Topps Chrome Layers Original Art (11)263 of 275105 of 11052 of 5511 of 11
ComicFractor (5)119 of 12548 of 5024 of 255 of 5

That's the 930,000 from earlier. On these ladders every numbered tier is figured about 95.4 percent into packs (887,544 over 930,000), so about one card in 22 of each tier stays out. Either a few copies of each tier are held back, or a few cards skip a tier.

Three SuperFractor lines come up short of the checklist, and each still works out to a whole number of cards at 887,544 packs:

SetCardsSuperFractor oddsSuperFractors in packsOdds with every card
Base1001:9,343951:8,876
Galaxy Autographs611:14,793601:14,550
Original Art Puzzle Cards361:25,359351:24,654

The base line is the interesting one. On the inserts other than the Puzzle Cards, the SuperFractors are all in packs while the numbered tiers run about 95 percent. On the base set, the SuperFractor runs at the same 95 percent as everything else on its ladder. That's five base SuperFractors held out of packs, five base cards with no SuperFractor, or an odds line that was worked out from the other tiers. The Galaxy Autographs and Puzzle Card lines are each one short.

The cards with no print run

The same pack count estimates the cards with no print run: packs divided by odds, divided by the cards in the set.

Base Refractor1001:2about 4,440
Base set1001:1roughly 24,900 (see below)

The no-color Quad and Triple cards are the scarcest cards without a print run, about 3 of each, scarcer than a Red /5. Topps' sell sheet lists no run for them. If those two sets and the Dual carry serial numbers of their own, the counts above should be close to the runs.

The 1:2 and 1:6 lines are short enough that the sheet's rounding could move them a lot. Since the sheet rounds up, a printed 1:2 could mean anything from a card in nearly every pack to one every two. The figures above take them at face value.

The base count is the roughest. The sheet's 1:1 only says there's at least one base card a pack, so the count is what's left of each 4-card pack after every other line: about 1.20 cards a pack (0.82 base parallels, 0.36 inserts and 0.02 sketch cards and autographs). That leaves about 2.80 base cards a pack, roughly 2.49 million in all, or about 24,900 copies of each of the 100. It leans on the Refractor being exactly one every two packs, so read it as rough.

Sketch cards. Each one is a single piece of art, so they're listed as one-of-ones, and the sheet counts them by foil color:

FoilOddsCards in packsBoxes per card
Silver Foil1:83about 10,7004.6
Gold Foil Stamp1:726about 1,22040
Black Foil Stamp1:2,099423117

That's about 12,340 sketch cards in all, in line with the three a case on Topps' sell sheet (12,327), and about 57 for each of the 217 artists on Topps' list if they're split evenly. About 87 percent are Silver.

The rarest pulls

The longest lines on the sheet are the ComicFractor SuperFractor and the Quad Autographs SuperFractor, both 1:177,509 packs, about one in 9,860 boxes, or one in 822 cases. Each has five cards.

Next are the Triple Autographs SuperFractor at 1:98,616 (nine cards, about one in 5,480 boxes) and the Force Energy and Dual Autographs SuperFractors at 1:88,755 (10 cards each, about one in 4,930 boxes). After those come the Topps Chrome Layers Original Art SuperFractor at 1:80,686 and six lines tied at 1:59,170, about one in 3,290 boxes each: the five art sets' SuperFractors and the no-color Quad Autographs.

Among the cards that aren't one-of-ones, the no-color Quad is the toughest, then the ComicFractor Red at 1:36,981 (24 in packs) and the no-color Triple at 1:30,605 (29 in packs).

Counting every SuperFractor line together, the odds put 315 in packs, seven fewer than the 322 cards on the checklist: about one every 2,818 packs, or one every 157 boxes. On its own line, a base SuperFractor is about one in 519 boxes. A Black Foil Stamp sketch card, at one every 117 boxes, is about four times as common.

What to watch

The things we're watching: serial numbers on pulled Galaxy Autographs Atomic, Wave, Mojo and Orange cards, and which signers have each color; whether the no-color Dual, Triple and Quad autographs carry serial numbers; whether the Dual line with no color is really as short as the Red; whether all 100 base SuperFractors surface, or only 95; and the one missing SuperFractor each on Galaxy Autographs and Original Art Puzzle Cards. We'll update this piece if any of that changes.

The checklist and the parallels, with their print runs and odds, are on the 2026 Topps Star Wars Chrome Galaxy release page, and you can track what you pull in HobbyMonitor Collections.
