2026 Topps Series 2 Baseball: The Complete Odds, Parallel, and Print Run Breakdown

2026 Topps Series 2 Baseball: The Complete Odds, Parallel, and Print Run Breakdown

2026 Topps Series 2 Baseball released June 10. Topps' odds sheet for it is enormous: 348 lines across 23 columns, one per format, from the hobby and jumbo boxes to a Japan Edition and two Fanatics Fest boxes. It lists odds and no print runs, but in every column the rarest line is a single copy, and most other long odds in that column are that number divided by a whole number of copies. So the sheet tells you how many packs of each format it covers: 3,277,920 hobby packs, 693,000 jumbo packs and 25,295,996 packs in all. From there every numbered ladder can be checked against its run, and every card with no serial number gets a count.

2026 Topps Series 2 Baseball Chase DeLauter Base Card 1952 Variation rookie card

The formats

The sheet's 23 columns are Hobby, Jumbo (Topps tags the jumbo's own parallel "HTA"), the Club Super Box, Floor Display, Bulk Packs, the Fanatics box, the Japan Edition, Fanatics Fest Hobby and Fanatics Fest Value Box, plus two columns each for the Super Box, Hanger Box, Fat Pack, Mega Box, All-Star Game Mega Box, Display Box and Value Box. Topps labels each pair EA and SE without saying what the letters mean; their odds are nearly identical but their pack counts aren't, so they're separate runs.

Topps doesn't publish Series 2's pack and box sizes. They aren't on the sheet or any Topps product page we could find, so this piece borrows the configuration Topps lists for 2026 Update Series: hobby boxes of 20 packs of 12 cards with one autograph or relic a box, 12 boxes to a case, and jumbo boxes of 10 packs of 40 cards with an autograph and a relic, six boxes to a case. Every box, case and base-card count below depends on those borrowed sizes; the pack counts and every other card count don't. The hit odds are consistent with them: Series 2's hobby lines add up to an autograph or relic every 18.9 packs, about 1.06 per 20 packs, and its jumbo lines to an autograph every 9.5 packs and a relic every 8.5, about 1.06 and 1.18 per 10. Nothing on the sheet tests the cards per pack.

Across the columns, hits run from one every 4.5 jumbo packs, 10.8 Fanatics Fest Hobby packs and 14.0 hanger packs down to about one every 75 Super Box or Mega Box packs and 151 Value Box packs. Almost every format also has exclusives of its own, which come up below.

How many packs the sheet covers

Take the hobby column. Its rarest figure, 1:3,277,920, is on four lines, one copy each in hobby: the First Pitch FoilFractor, the All Aces Gold, the Signature Tunes Dual Autographs Gold and the Major League Material Dual Autographs Platinum. The rest falls into place below it: the Crooked Numbers FoilFractor (1:1,638,960) is two copies, the First Pitch Red (1:1,092,640) three, the World Champion Autographs FoilFractor (1:819,480) four, and the Crooked Numbers Red (1:273,160) and Orange (1:54,632) 12 and 60. Of the 136 hobby lines at 1:5,000 or longer, 111 land on a whole number of copies; most of the rest are autograph parallels, whose copies split across formats in fractions.

Every column works the same way, and each one's rarest figure is its pack count:

On the borrowed box sizes, that's 163,896 hobby boxes (13,658 cases, about 39.3 million cards) and 69,300 jumbo boxes (11,550 cases, about 27.7 million cards).

A count read off one copy could in principle be half the real one, but doubling any column except the EA Display Box pushes some numbered line past its run. Double hobby, and the First Pitch Autographs FoilFractor, four in hobby and two in jumbo, would come to 10 one-of-ones of a six-card set. Doubled, the EA Display Box's tightest line, the Crooked Numbers Red, would still be at 98 percent, so that one count isn't pinned.

Hobby and jumbo are both up from last year. The same reading of Topps' 2025 Series 2 sheet gives 2,791,720 hobby packs and 606,340 jumbo packs, pinned the same way by its base FoilFractors. This year's counts are about 17 and 14 percent higher.

The checklist

Topps' checklist runs the base set from #351 to #700, finishing the flagship set Series 1 started. We covered the rookie class and the variations in June, so card counts appear here only where the odds need them. The sheet has no lines for The Flagship Collection (90 cards plus 90 Chrome and 63 Chrome autographs, a Super Box exclusive on Topps' checklist), the 1991 Topps Chrome Silver Pack cards (50 and 50, plus 44 and 43 autographs), Highlight Reels (10, plus five autographs), the Bulk Order and Funko Pop cards or the Iconic Topps Buybacks, so they can't be counted.

2026 Topps Series 2 Baseball Munetaka Murakami base card rookie, Chicago White Sox

The base set

On the borrowed configuration, the base set comes to about 105,000 copies of each of the 350 cards in hobby packs and 72,000 in jumbo, roughly 178,000 in all. That's what's left after every other line on the sheet: about 0.74 non-base cards in a 12-card hobby pack and 3.4 in a 40-card jumbo pack. If Series 2's packs hold a different number of cards, these counts move with them. The other 21 columns, most of the packs on the sheet, have no published pack size, so their base cards can't be counted.

The base parallels

Every numbered base parallel but two comes out at 92 to 97 percent of its run in packs across the 23 formats. The runs are the ones in our data unless the row says otherwise. These run in every format; odds per pack:

The 75 Years of Topps line has exactly the Black /75's odds in every column, so it fits a /75 too. Hobby packs hold about a tenth of each of these (about 67,000 Golds) and jumbo about 7 percent.

The color ladder splits by channel: Rainbow Foil in hobby and jumbo, Holo Foil in the other 21 columns, with the same print runs.

Hobby holds 196 of the 336 FoilFractors and jumbo the other 140. The Rose Gold is one of the two exceptions to the 92 to 97 percent: about 305 of 350 is 87 percent.

All-Star GameAll-Star Game Mega Box (EA)1:31:481:941:1871:4681:931Platinum 1:4,706

Each lands at 92 to 97 percent. The All-Star Game ladder is on Topps' sheet but not in our data, so its runs are the ones its odds fit (about 340 of 350 Platinums are in packs). The Japan Edition's Cherry Blossom, 1:30 Japan packs, comes to about 33,370 cards, 96 percent of a /99.

Canadian Independence Day is the other exception. Our data lists it at /67 on Blue Jays cards, and Topps' checklist has 14 Blue Jays among the 350 base cards, but the sheet puts about 812 in packs, 87 percent of 14 at /67, and its hobby figure (1:40,720) isn't a whole number of copies. Either one of the 14 has none, which would put the other 13 at 93 percent, or the run isn't /67.

The Golden Mirror Image Variations, one of each of the 350 base cards, are on Topps' checklist but not yet in ours. Most of these lines split about 10 percent in hobby, 7 percent in jumbo and the rest across retail. The Clear Variations are the scarcest: hobby only, about 966 in all, which would be 97 percent of a /10 if they're numbered.

The Holiday Variations are only in the two Value Box columns (Topps' checklist files them under a Holiday Tin heading): 1:3 packs, at least 17,500 of each of the 100 cards. Its parallels, with the runs in our data: Hot Dog /99 (1:550 EA), Ice Cream /50 (1:1,090), Beach Umbrella /25 (1:2,179), Fireworks /5 (1:10,808) and Waves 1/1 (1:54,576). The numbered ones come to 96 or 97 percent of their runs and 98 of the 100 Waves are in packs.

The Big Apple Foil Variations are the Fanatics Fest equivalent: 1:4 Fest hobby packs and 1:6 Fest Value Box packs, at least 260 of each of the 100 cards, with Gold /50 (1:27 Fest hobby), Orange /25 (1:53), Black /10 (1:131), Red /5 (1:261) and Rose Gold 1/1 (1:1,315), all at 95 to 98 percent.

The format exclusives count the same way: the Oversized 2026 Topps Baseball cards (16, Super Box only) at least 9,030 each, the Oversized 1991 Topps Baseball cards (16, Club Super Box only, 1:13 packs) at least 17,990 each, the Funko base cards (five, Super Box only, 1:1,000) about 290 each, Swinging with the Stars Chrome (25, Fanatics Fest only, 1:20 hobby and 1:37 Value Box packs) about 190 each, and the Lady Liberty Home Field FanFest card 25 copies. (The sheet prints the Oversized 2026 line as "01:10:00", a spreadsheet time; read as 1:10, it's at least 144,600 cards.) Two redemption lines round it out: the Fanatics box's Fanatics Authentic cards, 200 in all (1:4,008 Fanatics packs), and the 75 Years of Topps Baseball Gifts prizes, about 300 in all (1:93,655 hobby packs).

The two 1991 Topps lines are one pool. The sheet gives 1991 Topps Baseball and 1991 Topps All-Star Baseball the same odds on nearly every line, and the numbered parallels only fit if each line counts both 50-card sets together. Read as 50 cards, the FoilFractor line would put 98 one-of-ones in packs and the Red 482 copies of a /5, about double what 50 cards can make. Read as 100 cards, every tier lands at 94 to 98 percent: FoilFractor 98 of 100, Red 96 percent, Black 96, Orange 95, Gold 95, The Real One /91 94, Green /99 95 and Blue 95 (the plain Green is on Topps' sheet but not in our data). So most likely a hobby pack holds a 1991 Topps card of either kind about once every four packs, not every two, and this piece counts the pair as one 100-card set. The Mega Box Crackle ladder (Blue 1:241, Green 1:365, Gold 1:721, Orange 1:1,440, Black 1:3,590, Red 1:7,180) fits at 96 to 97 percent, and so do two ladders on Topps' sheet that our data lacks: the Japan Edition's Koi Fish (Gold 1:208, Orange 1:415, Black 1:1,035, Red 1:2,060) and the All-Star Game Mega Box's 1991 parallels (Gold 1:328, Orange 1:655, Black 1:1,628, Red 1:3,256, Platinum 1:15,556), at 96 to 98 percent of /50 down to 1/1.

The numbered tiers land at 93 to 98 percent, except the First Pitch Red and FoilFractor, which are all in packs (30 and six); 61 of the 65 Glove Work and 23 of the 25 Crooked Numbers FoilFractors are too. The Pinks are unnumbered, about 950 to 970 of each card.

Stars of MLB and Titans of the Game run Green /99 down to a FoilFractor 1/1 in the retail columns (a Stars of MLB Green is 1:1,996 hanger packs), plus Crackle versions from Gold down in the Mega Box, every tier at 94 to 98 percent; all 20 Titans FoilFractors and 29 of the 30 Stars of MLB ones are in packs, as are all the All Aces and All Kings Gold one-of-ones. Swinging with the Stars Chrome's Orange, Black, Red and SuperFractor run 96 to 98 percent, and both Oversized sets' Orange, Black and Red 97 to 99, with all 16 Platinums of each in packs.

Most autograph lines split the same way: about 29 percent of the copies in hobby, 25 percent in jumbo and the rest across retail, where a hanger pack is a little more likely than a hobby pack to hold one. The two big sets lean on jumbo, which holds about half of the Baseball Stars Autographs with no color (one every 34 jumbo packs) and 46 percent of the 1991 Topps Autographs (one every 36); those two lines are more than half of the jumbo's autographs.

The Platinums of the five relic sets with no autograph are hobby and jumbo only, roughly half in each. City Connect Swatch Collection runs 95 to 96 percent on every tier, and Rounding the Bases 94 to 95 percent with all 79 Platinums in packs. The Major League Material Autographs Gold is on Topps' sheet but not in our data.

Where the numbers get uneven

Topps notes on the sheet that a player on the checklist isn't guaranteed to appear in every parallel, and the odds show where:

  • Blue and Green autographs. The Baseball Stars Blue /150 (about 9,210 cards) is 67 percent of 92 signers' worth and its Green 85; the 1991 Topps Autographs Blue and Green 74 and 84; the 1991 Topps All-Star Autographs Blue, Green and Gold 46, 54 and 82. Their other tiers sit near 95, so most likely many signers have no Blue or Green.
  • Real One Relics. The Black (about 339), Red (176) and FoilFractor (35) each come to 34 or 35 players' worth of 45.
  • 1991 Topps All-Star Relics. The Orange, Black and Red fall to 72, 79 and 85 percent, and 45 of the 50 Platinums are in packs.
  • Major League Material. Black and Red run 87 and 89 percent, and 88 of the 98 Platinums are in packs.
  • Autograph relics. The City Connect Swatch Collection Autographs Gold is 76 percent of a /50 across 56 signers and the Orange 84. The Major League Material Autographs Gold, about 2,740 in packs, is 84 percent of a /50 across 65 signers, the rest of that ladder 89 to 91.
  • Flagship Real One Autographs. Every tier runs 88 to 90 percent, the Green 82.
  • Major League Material Dual Autographs. Four cards, but the Platinum line is two one-of-ones (one hobby, one jumbo) and the Orange /25 is 73 of 100, so two of the duals may have no Platinum.
  • 1952 Autograph Variation Black. About 20 in packs across 19 signers, one more than a one-of-one each allows; the Red is 85 percent of a /5.

Topps rounds this sheet's odds up: where a line's copies aren't a whole number, the printed figure is almost always the next whole number above. So the counts in this piece are floors (the base-set counts, built by subtraction, are the exception). A 1:2 line could be anything from just over 1:1 to 1:2, so the rows marked "at least" could run well higher; everything at 1:100 or longer is good to about a percent.

The rarest pulls

The toughest hobby lines are the four at 1:3,277,920 named above, one copy each in hobby, or one in 163,896 boxes on the borrowed box size. The Signature Tunes Gold and the Major League Material Dual Autographs Platinum are only two cards each in the whole product, one in hobby and one in jumbo.

The smallest base versions are the 75 Years of Topps Baseball Autographs, five of each of the four signers (plus a FoilFractor of each), then the In the Name Relics (about 6.5 per card), the 1952 Autograph Variations (9.5) and the Clear Variations (9.7).

Across the product the sheet puts about 2,560 one-of-ones in packs, not counting printing plates: 336 Rainbow FoilFractors, about 340 All-Star Game Platinums, about 305 Rose Golds, 98 each of the 1991 Topps FoilFractors, 1991 All-Star Game Platinums and Holiday Waves, and the rest across the inserts, autographs and relics. Hobby packs hold about 537 of them, one every 6,100 hobby packs or so (about 305 boxes). With the roughly 1,320 printing plates it's about 3,880.

What to watch

We're watching for serial numbers on the 75 Years of Topps, All-Star Game, Koi Fish and 1991 All-Star Game parallels; whether the Clear Variations are numbered; the Canadian Independence Day count; the 1952 Autograph Variation Black; which signers lack a Blue or Green autograph; Series 2's own box sizes; and odds for The Flagship Collection, the 1991 Topps Chrome cards and Highlight Reels.

The checklist and parallel ladder are on the 2026 Topps Series 2 Baseball release page, and you can track what you pull in HobbyMonitor Collections.
