2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire Star Wars: The Complete Odds, Parallel, and Print Run Breakdown
2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire Star Wars released October 28. Topps' product page calls it 2026 Topps Chrome Star Wars Sapphire Edition, and by release day it had added two files: a checklist uploaded October 26, and, for odds, the combined Chrome Star Wars odds sheet Topps posted September 30, which has a Sapphire column of its own. That column is short: 22 lines of odds and no print runs. Four of its one-of-one lines, all of them autographs, agree on the count, and they put the product at about 57,665 packs, or 7,208 boxes. From there we can check the print runs in our data, count the cards that carry no number, and see how much of each ladder made it into packs: every signed Padparadscha, 195 of the 200 base Padparadschas, and, as the sheet prints them, only about two of the five Padparadschas in each of the two inserts.

The box
A box is eight packs of four cards, 32 cards in all, with four parallels guaranteed, according to the box itself. The box also notes that packs with a special insert may contain fewer cards. Topps' product page listed the release for October 28 at 2pm ET and includes a section on its EQL draw. It gives no price and no case configuration.
The base card in Blue Sapphire, the base color in this product, falls 3:1, three to a pack. Every other line on the sheet adds about 0.64 cards a pack. Here's what that comes to in an average box:
| Line | Per box (8 packs) | About one box in |
|---|---|---|
| Blue Sapphire base card | about 24 to 27 | - |
| Aqua/Blue Sapphire Lightning | 2.0 | - |
| Gold Sapphire | 1.33 | - |
| Orange Sapphire | 0.67 | 1.5 |
| Black Sapphire | 0.28 | 3.6 |
| Red Sapphire | 0.14 | 7.4 |
| Padparadscha Sapphire | 0.027 | 37 |
| Characters Autographs, any version | 0.55 | 1.8 |
| Hidden Gems, any version | 0.044 | 23 |
| Kyber Carvings, any version | 0.017 | 59 |
| Duo Autographs, any version | 0.016 | 62 |
| Triple Autographs, any version | 0.014 | 73 |
| Kyber Carvings Autographs, any version | 0.0035 | 288 |
The base parallels add up to about 4.4 a box, which squares with the four the box guarantees. A signed card of some kind turns up about 0.58 times a box, about once every 1.7 boxes. The box doesn't promise one.

The checklist
Not counting parallels, Topps' checklist runs 438 cards in seven sets, with each duo and triple autograph counted as one card. It lists 498 names.
The base set is 200 cards, from Obi-Wan Kenobi at #1 to Rotta the Hutt at #200 (Mace Windu is both #27 and #37), the same 200 as this year's Topps Chrome Star Wars. Topps tags 43 of them as debuts, among them Lezine, Devon Izara, Captain Kaido, the Ghorman Spider, Pix the Tooka, Beef and Lord Janu.
The two inserts:
- Hidden Gems, five cards: Han Solo, Leia Organa, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Kylo Ren and Yoda.
- Kyber Carvings, five cards, new this year: Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Luke Skywalker and Darth Maul. Topps' product page says each character is shown with Kyber crystals in the color of their lightsaber.
The autographs are 228 cards from 191 signers, and Topps' checklist lists each one by actor and character:
- Characters Autographs, 182 signers. 134 of them carry a base-set number, from Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi at #1, and the other 48 carry an A- code. The list includes Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen, Ian McDiarmid, Samuel L. Jackson, Pedro Pascal, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver and Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, and the A- cards add names like Ron Howard, Werner Herzog, Laura Dern and Cynthia Erivo. Topps tags 19 of the autographs as debuts.
- Duo Autographs, 22 pairs, among them Harrison Ford with Jeremy Bulloch (Han Solo and Boba Fett), Harrison Ford with Adam Driver (Han Solo and Kylo Ren), Hayden Christensen with Ewan McGregor (Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi), Peter Mayhew with David Prowse (Chewbacca and Darth Vader), and Anthony Daniels with Jimmy Vee (C-3PO and R2-D2).
- Triple Autographs, 19 trios, among them Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Peter Mayhew (Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Chewbacca), Ian McDiarmid, Ray Park and Natalie Portman, and Rosario Dawson, David Tennant and Natasha Liu Bordizzo.
- Kyber Carvings Autographs, five cards: David Prowse (Darth Vader), Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Samuel L. Jackson (Mace Windu), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Ray Park (Darth Maul).
The base ladder
Topps prints no runs on the sheet or the checklist, so the runs below are the ones in our data. Odds per pack:
| Parallel | Print run in our data | Odds | Run x odds x 200 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blue Sapphire (base) | - | 3:1 | - |
| Aqua/Blue Sapphire Lightning | - | 1:4 | - |
| Gold Sapphire | /50 | 1:6 | 60,000 |
| Orange Sapphire | /25 | 1:12 | 60,000 |
| Black Sapphire | /10 | 1:29 | 58,000 |
| Red Sapphire | /5 | 1:59 | 59,000 |
| Padparadscha Sapphire | 1/1 | 1:296 | 59,200 |
Two of these runs show up as serial numbers on the preview cards on Topps' product page: the Emperor Palpatine Black Sapphire at the top of this piece at 01/10, and the Rotta the Hutt Red Sapphire below at 1/5.
Every tier is spread over the same 200 characters, so if the runs are right, run times odds times 200 should come out about the same on every line, and it does: 58,000 to 60,000. A wrong run would stick out. A Gold at /99 would come to 118,800, and a Black at /25 to 145,000. All five numbers sit a little above the 57,665 packs the sheet covers (worked out below), which puts about 96 to 99 percent of each run in packs. More on that below.
If those runs hold, each character has five numbered parallels, 91 numbered copies in all. A numbered base parallel of any color falls about once every 3.3 packs, about 2.4 a box.

Hidden Gems
Odds per pack. There's no plain version on the sheet; the Emerald is the most common:
| Version | Print run in our data | Odds | In packs, at 57,665 packs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Emerald | /50 | 1:237 | about 243 |
| Onyx | /10 | 1:1,209 | about 48 |
| Ruby | /5 | 1:2,582 | about 22 |
| Padparadscha | 1/1 | 1:28,400 | about 2 |
The Emerald, Onyx and Ruby lines come to 89 to 97 percent of their runs on five cards. The Padparadscha doesn't fit at all: five one-of-ones would print about 1:11,533, and the sheet prints 1:28,400, which is about two cards. More on that below. A Hidden Gems card of any kind falls about once every 23 boxes.
Kyber Carvings
Odds per pack. Like Hidden Gems, there's no version without a color on the sheet:
| Version | Print run in our data | Odds | In packs, at 57,665 packs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blue Sapphire | /25 | 1:477 | about 121 |
| Padparadscha Sapphire | 1/1 | 1:28,400 | about 2 |
Both runs show up on Topps' preview cards, the two below: the Mace Windu, with a purple lightsaber over purple crystals, is numbered 01/25, and the Darth Maul, over red crystals, is numbered 1/1. The Blue Sapphire line comes to about 121 of the 125 cards five characters at /25 would make, 97 percent. The Padparadscha line prints the same 1:28,400 as the Hidden Gems Padparadscha, and comes to the same two cards. So on this insert the 1/1 is confirmed on a card, and the odds still put only about two of the five in packs.

The autographs
Odds per pack. Blue Sapphire is the base version of each autograph, and Topps gives no run for it:
| Set | Cards | Blue Sapphire | Red Sapphire /5 | Padparadscha Sapphire 1/1 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Characters Autographs | 182 | 1:20 | 1:64 | 1:317 |
| Kyber Carvings Autographs | 5 | 1:2,883 | - | 1:11,533 |
| Duo Autographs | 22 | 1:607 | - | 1:2,621 |
| Triple Autographs | 19 | 1:721 | - | 1:3,035 |
The Red Sapphire /5 and the Padparadschas are the runs in our data, and the Chewbacca below, signed by Peter Mayhew, is a Padparadscha numbered 1/1. Only the Characters Autographs have a Red Sapphire; the sheet lists the Duo, Triple and Kyber Carvings autographs in Blue Sapphire and Padparadscha only.
Per box, a Characters Autograph of some kind turns up about once every 1.8 boxes, a Duo about once every 62, a Triple about once every 73 and a Kyber Carvings Autograph about once every 288. In all, the odds put about 4,200 signed cards in packs.

How many packs the sheet covers
The Padparadscha lines are the key. Each one counts one-of-ones, so the odds times the number of cards gives a pack count:
| Line | Cards | Odds | Cards x odds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kyber Carvings Autographs Padparadscha | 5 | 1:11,533 | 57,665 |
| Triple Autographs Padparadscha | 19 | 1:3,035 | 57,665 |
| Duo Autographs Padparadscha | 22 | 1:2,621 | 57,662 |
| Characters Autographs Padparadscha | 182 | 1:317 | 57,694 |
| Base Padparadscha | 200 | 1:296 | 59,200 |
| Hidden Gems Padparadscha | 5 | 1:28,400 | 142,000 |
| Kyber Carvings Padparadscha | 5 | 1:28,400 | 142,000 |
The four signed lines agree. The three with the fewest cards land within three packs of each other, and the 182-card line fits once rounding is counted: 57,665 divided by 182 is 316.8, which prints as 1:317. The base Padparadscha comes to 59,200, which means not all 200 are in packs, and the two insert Padparadschas come to 142,000, which no other line on the sheet comes close to. Both are covered below.
This sheet rounds its odds to the nearest number, not up. The Kyber Carvings Autographs show it. If the odds were rounded up, its Padparadscha line (five cards at 1:11,533) would need more than 57,660 packs, and no whole number of Blue Sapphire cards would fit its 1:2,883 at that count: 20 cards would need 57,660 packs or fewer, and 21 cards more than 60,500. Rounded to the nearest number, every signed line fits, and together they pin the count between 57,663 and 57,667 packs.
So the sheet covers about 57,665 packs. At eight packs a box that's about 7,208 boxes (57,664 is the only count in the window that makes whole boxes):
| Count | |
|---|---|
| Packs | about 57,665 (57,663 to 57,667) |
| Boxes, 8 packs each | about 7,208 |
| Cards, 4 a pack | about 230,700 (a little less if packs with a special insert run short) |
One more thing turns up here. The Hidden Gems and Kyber Carvings lines don't all come out to whole cards at 57,665 packs: the Onyx (about 47.7), the Ruby (about 22.3) and both Padparadschas (about 2.03 each) fall between whole numbers that would print different odds. All six lines on the two inserts do land on whole cards at exactly 56,800 packs, 1.5 percent fewer, and that's the only count that works for all six: 240 Emeralds, 47 Onyx, 22 Rubies, 119 Kyber Carvings Blue Sapphires and two Padparadschas in each set. So the two inserts look seeded on a slightly smaller pack count than the rest of the sheet. It changes the counts by one to three cards (the Emerald most, about 243 against 240), and either way the two Padparadscha lines come to two cards each.
What the odds say about the print runs
Here's what the odds put in packs at 57,665 packs, against what the runs in our data would print on 200 characters. Each range covers every count that would still print the same odds:
| Base tier | Printed (200 characters) | In packs | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gold Sapphire /50 | 10,000 | 8,872 to 10,000 | 89 to 100% |
| Orange Sapphire /25 | 5,000 | 4,614 to 5,000 | 92 to 100% |
| Black Sapphire /10 | 2,000 | 1,955 to 2,000 | 98 to 100% |
| Red Sapphire /5 | 1,000 | 970 to 985 | 97 to 98.5% |
| Padparadscha Sapphire 1/1 | 200 | 195 | 97.5% |
The base runs fit the odds. The three scarcest tiers, the ones the odds pin tightest, each have at least 97 percent of their run in packs: 195 of the 200 Padparadschas, 970 to 985 of the 1,000 Reds and at least 1,955 of the 2,000 Blacks. The 1:6 Gold and 1:12 Orange are short lines with a lot of rounding in them, and both fit the same share. Topps' note on the sheet says a subject on the checklist isn't guaranteed to appear in every parallel, which would account for a few characters' worth of each tier.
The signed cards are all in packs. The four signed Padparadscha lines could only agree this closely with every card in packs: 182 of 182 single autographs, five Kyber Carvings Autographs, 22 Duos and 19 Triples, 228 in all. The Characters Autographs Red Sapphire /5 comes to 895 to 908 of the 910 that 182 signers at /5 would make, 98 to 99.8 percent.
The two insert Padparadschas come up three short each. Both Hidden Gems and Kyber Carvings have five cards, and the Darth Maul preview shows the Kyber Carvings Padparadscha is a 1/1. If all five of each were in packs, each line would read about 1:11,533, the same as the Kyber Carvings Autographs Padparadscha, which is also five one-of-ones. The sheet prints 1:28,400 for both, about two cards each. Either only two of the five in each set are in packs, or both lines are off. The numbered tiers below them look normal: on five cards, the Emerald, Onyx, Ruby and Kyber Carvings Blue Sapphire lines come to 88 to 97 percent of their runs, whichever of the two pack counts above is used. The Ruby is the softest, about 22 of 25.
The cards with no print run
Six lines on the sheet have no run in our data. Using 57,665 packs:
| Card | Cards | Odds | In packs | Copies of each card |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blue Sapphire base | 200 | 3:1 | about 173,000 to 194,000 | about 865 to 970 |
| Aqua/Blue Sapphire Lightning | 200 | 1:4 | about 14,400 (12,815 to 16,475 with rounding) | about 72 (64 to 82) |
| Characters Autographs Blue Sapphire | 182 | 1:20 | about 2,880 (2,813 to 2,957) | about 16 |
| Duo Autographs Blue Sapphire | 22 | 1:607 | 95 | about 4.3 |
| Triple Autographs Blue Sapphire | 19 | 1:721 | 80 | about 4.2 |
| Kyber Carvings Autographs Blue Sapphire | 5 | 1:2,883 | 20 | 4 |
The Blue Sapphire base falls 3:1. Taken at face value that's three a pack, about 173,000 cards, about 865 of each character. But a pack holds four cards, and every other line on the sheet comes to about 0.64 cards a pack, which leaves about 3.36 slots for the base card, and 3.36 still prints as 3:1. That's at most about 194,000 base cards, about 970 of each character, and a little less where packs with a special insert run short.
The Aqua/Blue Sapphire Lightning comes to about 72 of each character, more than a Gold /50 and fewer than a /99 would make. The Characters Autographs Blue Sapphire comes to about 16 of each signer, about three times as many as the Red Sapphire /5. On the Duo, Triple and Kyber Carvings autographs, the Blue Sapphire comes to only about four of each card, a little fewer than the roughly five of each signer the Characters Autographs Red Sapphire /5 puts in packs. Those three lines land on exact whole numbers, 95, 80 and 20 cards, but we haven't seen a serial number on any of them, so this piece gives no run.
Every Hidden Gems and Kyber Carvings line has a run in our data, so these six are the only lines on the sheet without one.
The rarest pulls
The toughest lines on the sheet are the two insert Padparadschas, Hidden Gems and Kyber Carvings, at 1:28,400 packs each, about one in 3,550 boxes. At about two in packs apiece, those are the hardest pulls in the product.
Next is the Kyber Carvings Autographs Padparadscha at 1:11,533, about one in 1,440 boxes. There are five, signed by David Prowse, Ewan McGregor, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Hamill and Ray Park. After that come the Triple Autographs Padparadscha (1:3,035), the Kyber Carvings Autographs Blue Sapphire (1:2,883), the Duo Autographs Padparadscha (1:2,621) and the Hidden Gems Ruby (1:2,582).
If every Padparadscha exists, the product has 438 one-of-ones: 200 base, five each in Hidden Gems and Kyber Carvings, 182 single autographs, five Kyber Carvings Autographs, 22 Duos and 19 Triples. The odds put about 427 of them in packs, about one every 135 packs, or one every 17 boxes.
What to watch
The things we're watching: serial numbers on the Gold and Orange Sapphire, the Characters Autographs Red Sapphire and the Hidden Gems Emerald, Onyx and Ruby, the runs no preview card shows yet; whether the Aqua/Blue Sapphire Lightning or any Blue Sapphire autograph carries a number; and whether three of the five Padparadschas in Hidden Gems and in Kyber Carvings turn up outside packs, or Topps corrects those two lines. We'll update this piece if any of that changes.
The full checklist and every parallel with its odds, and its print run where one is known, are on the 2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire Star Wars release page. The page lists each duo and triple autograph once per character, so its card count runs higher than Topps' 438. You can track what you pull in HobbyMonitor Collections.
