2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire Marvel: The Complete Odds, Parallel, and Print Run Breakdown

2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire Marvel: The Complete Odds, Parallel, and Print Run Breakdown

2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire Marvel released August 5. Topps' product page calls it Topps Chrome Marvel Comics Sapphire Edition, a Sapphire take on Topps Chrome Marvel Comics. Topps posted the checklist on its product page on July 27 and the odds sheet on release day. The sheet is short: one column, 23 lines of odds and no print runs. Five of its one-of-one lines agree to the pack, and they put the product at 100,560 packs. From there we can check the print runs in our data, count the cards that carry no number, and see how much of each ladder made it into packs: every facsimile autograph, and 191 of the 200 base Padparadschas, a 95.5 percent share that fits every base parallel.

The box

Topps' product page includes a section on its EQL draw, but it lists no price and no box or pack configuration, and neither does the sheet or the checklist. So this piece counts in packs, not boxes.

The sheet does put a floor under what a pack holds. The base card in Blue Sapphire, the base color in this product, falls 1:1, so there are at least as many of them as there are packs. Every other line on the sheet adds up to about 0.48 cards a pack on top of that, so packs average more than one card. Per pack:

  • A numbered base parallel of any color falls about once every two packs.
  • Infinite falls 1:80.
  • A facsimile autograph of any kind falls about once every 250 packs.
  • A Hidden Gems card of any kind falls about once every 318 packs.

The checklist

Not counting parallels, Topps' checklist runs 242 cards in seven sets, with each dual, triple and quad autograph counted as one card.

The base set is 200 characters in two halves. Characters I runs from Abomination at #1 to Sleeper Agent at #100, and Characters II from Angela at #101 to X-23 at #200. Topps marks 17 of them as debuts: Dark Gwenpool, Dragonfire, Infernal Hulk, Mutina, Nightdrifter, Arachnix, Elbecca Voss, Evangeline, Glitch, Hellgate, Lady Henrietta, Raelith, Rapid, Sister Sorrow, Ultimate Daredevil, Venomizer and Venomouse.

The two inserts:

  • Hidden Gems, five cards: Carnage, Jeff the Land Shark, Magik, Rogue and Spider-Man. Topps' product page says the set makes its debut here, with a gem-inspired design.
  • Infinite, 10 cards: Emma Frost, Ghost-Spider, Moon Knight, Elektra, Silk, Hawkeye, Loki, Black Panther, She-Hulk and X-23. The card front reads Infinite Sapphire, around an infinity-loop design.

The autographs are facsimiles. Topps' product page describes them as printed signatures, so no one signs these cards. There are 27 of them in four sets:

  • Marvel Facsimile Autographs, 15 characters: Captain Britain, Cyclops, Doctor Octopus, Galactus, Green Goblin, Ghost Rider, Juggernaut, Mary Jane, Namor, Nick Fury, Nightcrawler, Storm, Venom, Vision and War Machine.
  • Marvel Facsimile Dual Autographs, six pairs: Psylocke and Captain Britain, Green Goblin and Harry Osborn, Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane, Spider-Man and Venom, Scarlet Witch and Vision, and Iron Man and War Machine.
  • Marvel Facsimile Triple Autographs, four trios: Vision, Agatha Harkness and Scarlet Witch; Nick Fury, Iron Man and War Machine; Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker and Mary Jane; and Cyclops, Storm and Nightcrawler.
  • Marvel Facsimile Quad Autographs, two cards: Doctor Doom, Silver Surfer, Galactus and Namor, and Venom, Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin and Spider-Man.

Five characters on the facsimile cards have no base card: Namor, Nick Fury, Harry Osborn, Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker.

The base ladder

Topps prints no runs on the sheet or the checklist, so the runs below are the ones in our data. Odds per pack:

ParallelPrint run in our dataOdds
Blue Sapphire (base)-1:1
Green Sapphire/991:6
Purple Sapphire/751:8
Gold Sapphire/501:11
Orange Sapphire/251:22
Black Sapphire/101:53
Red Sapphire/51:106
Padparadscha Sapphire1/11:527

If those runs hold, each character in the base set has seven numbered parallels, 265 numbered copies in all. Four of them show up as serial numbers on the preview cards on Topps' product page: a Green Sapphire Doctor Doom at 01/99, a Purple Sapphire Psylocke at 01/75, the Wolverine Gold Sapphire below at 01/50 and the Spider-Man Red Sapphire at the top of this piece at 1/5.

Onyx/101:2,095
Ruby/51:4,190
Padparadscha1/11:20,112

The Spider-Man below, with a red gem behind him, is numbered 1/5, which fits the Ruby; Topps' product page uses the same card to show Hidden Gems. The page also shows a Carnage in the same design numbered 1/1, which fits the Padparadscha.

2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire Marvel Spider-Man Hidden Gems Ruby numbered 1/5

Infinite

Infinite falls 1:80 packs, and it's the only version on the sheet: no colors and no Padparadscha. The Ghost-Spider below, the same card Topps shows on its product page, carries no serial number.

The facsimile autographs

Odds per pack. The runs are the ones in our data:

Marvel Facsimile Autographs151:6711:1,3411:6,704
Marvel Facsimile Dual Autographs61:1,6761:3,3521:16,760
Marvel Facsimile Triple Autographs41:2,5141:5,0281:25,140
Marvel Facsimile Quad Autographs2--1:50,280

There's no version without a number on the sheet. Every facsimile autograph is a Black, a Red or a Padparadscha, and the Quads come only as Padparadschas. Topps' product page shows two of the one-of-ones, the Iron Man and War Machine dual and the Spider-Man, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Venom quad, both numbered 1/1.

How many packs the sheet covers

The Padparadscha lines are the key. Each one counts one-of-ones, so the odds times the number of cards gives a pack count:

LineCardsOddsCards x odds
Facsimile Quad Autographs Padparadscha21:50,280100,560
Facsimile Triple Autographs Padparadscha41:25,140100,560
Hidden Gems Padparadscha51:20,112100,560
Facsimile Dual Autographs Padparadscha61:16,760100,560
Facsimile Autographs Padparadscha151:6,704100,560
Base Padparadscha2001:527105,400

Five lines land on exactly 100,560. The base Padparadscha comes to 105,400, which means not all 200 are in packs. More on that below.

Topps rounds this sheet's odds up. The Facsimile Autographs Black Sapphire shows it: 15 characters at /10 is 150 cards, and 100,560 divided by 150 is 670.4. The sheet prints 1:671. Rounded to the nearest number it would read 1:670, and at 100,560 packs no whole number of cards rounds to 1:671 any other way. The base Padparadscha agrees: 100,560 divided by 191 cards is 526.49, which reads 1:527 only when rounded up, and no whole number of cards gets to 1:527 by rounding to the nearest number. Rounded up, the Quad line pins the pack count. Two cards at 1:50,280 means no more than 100,560 packs, since any more would print as 1:50,281, and no fewer than 100,559, since any fewer would print as 1:50,279. At 100,559 the only figure below that moves is the Blue Sapphire floor, by one card. Rounding up also means a count worked back from the odds is a floor: a line at 1:6 means one in six packs or a little better.

So the sheet covers 100,560 packs. Topps hasn't published how many packs make a box, so there's no box count here.

What the odds say about the print runs

Here's what the odds put in packs at 100,560 packs, against what the runs in our data would print on 200 characters. Each range runs from the floor the odds give up to the most the line allows before it would print one number lower, or the full run, whichever is lower.

Base tierPrinted (200 characters)In packsShare
Green Sapphire /9919,80016,760 to 19,80085 to 100%
Purple Sapphire /7515,00012,570 to 14,36584 to 96%
Gold Sapphire /5010,0009,142 to 10,00091 to 100%
Orange Sapphire /255,0004,571 to 4,78891 to 96%
Black Sapphire /102,0001,898 to 1,93395 to 97%
Red Sapphire /51,000949 to 95795 to 96%
Padparadscha Sapphire 1/120019195.5%

The base runs hold up. One share fits every base tier at once: about 95.5 percent of each run in packs, which is 191 of the 200 Padparadschas. At that share every base line comes out exactly as printed, from the Green at 1:6 to the Padparadscha at 1:527, and the window is narrow, about 95.3 to 95.7 percent. A wrong run would stick out. A Purple at /99 would print 19,800, and the odds put no more than 14,365 in packs, about 73 percent. A Green at /75 would print 15,000, fewer than the 16,760 the odds already put in packs. The Black and the Red are pinned tightest: at that share, only /10 and /5 fit.

The odds can't say where the other 4.5 percent goes. Nine characters with no parallels at all would give the same counts as every tier running 4.5 percent short: 191 Padparadschas, 955 Reds, 1,910 Blacks and so on up the ladder. Topps' note on the sheet says a character on the checklist isn't guaranteed to appear in every parallel.

The facsimile autographs are all in packs. Every Black, Red and Padparadscha line lands on a whole card count with nothing missing:

SetBlack /10Red /5Padparadscha 1/1
Marvel Facsimile Autographs (15)150 of 15075 of 7515 of 15
Marvel Facsimile Dual Autographs (6)60 of 6030 of 306 of 6
Marvel Facsimile Triple Autographs (4)40 of 4020 of 204 of 4
Marvel Facsimile Quad Autographs (2)--2 of 2

Six Duals at /10 is 60 cards, and 100,560 divided by 60 is 1,676, the Dual Black line to the pack. The Triple Black (40 cards, 1:2,514) and Red (20 cards, 1:5,028) are exact the same way. That backs up the /10, /5 and 1/1 runs on every facsimile autograph: 402 cards in all, every one of them in packs.

Hidden Gems comes up a card or two short. Its Onyx line is 1:2,095, and 100,560 divided by 2,095 is exactly 48, two short of the 50 that five cards at /10 would make. The Ruby is 1:4,190, exactly 24 of 25. All five Padparadschas are in packs. That's 96 percent of the Onyx and Ruby runs, close to the base ladder's share.

The cards with no print run

Three lines on the sheet have no run. Using 100,560 packs:

CardCardsOddsIn packsEst. copies per card
Hidden Gems base51:421239about 48
Infinite101:801,257 to 1,272about 126 to 127
Blue Sapphire base2001:1at least 100,560at least about 503

The Hidden Gems base version is about as scarce per card as a base Gold Sapphire /50. Its 239 copies are also what a /50 would put in packs at the base ladder's share (95.5 percent of 250 is 239), but Topps gives no run for it, and we haven't seen a numbered one. Infinite comes to about 126 or 127 of each card, more per card than a Green Sapphire /99.

The Blue Sapphire base falls 1:1, and with the sheet rounding up, that means at least one for every pack: at least 100,560 in packs, or about 503 for each of the 200 characters. Topps hasn't published how many cards are in a pack, so the base count can't be pinned any higher than that floor.

Every parallel on the sheet has a run in our data, and the facsimile autographs have no unnumbered version, so these three are the only lines on the sheet without a print run.

The rarest pulls

The toughest line on the sheet is the Facsimile Quad Autographs Padparadscha at 1:50,280 packs. There are two, one of each quad: Doctor Doom, Silver Surfer, Galactus and Namor, and Venom, Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin and Spider-Man. The Quad set has no other version, so those two cards are the whole set.

Next are the Triple Padparadschas at 1:25,140 (four cards), the Hidden Gems Padparadschas at 1:20,112 (five) and the Dual Padparadschas at 1:16,760 (six). The single-character Facsimile Autographs Padparadscha falls 1:6,704, and the base Padparadscha 1:527.

If every base character has a Padparadscha, the product has 232 one-of-ones: 200 base, five Hidden Gems and 27 facsimile autographs. The odds put 223 of them in packs, about one every 451 packs.

What to watch

The things we're watching: Topps' box and pack configuration, which would turn the pack count into boxes and the base floor into a count; serial numbers on the Orange and Black Sapphire parallels and the Hidden Gems Onyx, the runs no preview card shows yet; whether the Hidden Gems base version carries a number; and which base characters, if any, skip the parallels. We'll update this piece if any of that changes.

The full checklist and every parallel with its print run and odds are on the 2026 Topps Chrome Sapphire Marvel release page. The page lists each dual, triple and quad autograph once per character, so its card count runs higher than Topps' 242. You can track what you pull in HobbyMonitor Collections.
