2025 Bowman Draft Baseball: The Complete Odds, Parallel, and Print Run Breakdown
2025 Bowman Draft Baseball released January 14, 2026. Topps' odds sheet runs 234 lines across five columns (Hobby, Super Jumbo, Breaker, Sapphire and a Mega Box exclusive pack). It prints no runs and doesn't say the odds are per pack, but the autograph lines only match Topps' autographs per box if they are, so that's how this piece reads them. Sapphire and Mega Box are their own releases on our site, so this covers the first three columns. A handful of lines that count single cards pin the run at 993,121 hobby packs (about 82,760 boxes), 110,880 Super Jumbo packs and 36,036 Breaker packs. From there the sheet checks the print runs in our data, turns up a few lines that don't add up, and counts the cards with no serial number, starting with the chase: the Chrome Prospect Autographs, the 1st Bowman Chrome autographs led by the 2025 draft class.

The box
Topps' product pages list the hobby box at 12 packs of 32 cards with three autographs, and the Super Jumbo box at 5 packs of 120 cards with five autographs. We couldn't find a Topps configuration for the Breaker box, so Breaker figures stay per pack.
The hobby autograph lines add up to about 0.24 a pack, or 2.9 a box, about 2.7 of them Chrome Prospect Autographs; every other autograph set together comes about once every 6.5 boxes. The base Chrome Prospect Autograph's 1:8 covers anything from 1:7.5 to 1:8.5, and at the short end the box comes to 3.0. A Super Jumbo pack averages about 0.9 autographs, or about 4.5 a box; its base line is 1:2 (anything from 1:1.5 to 1:2.5), and at about 1:1.7 the box comes to Topps' five. A Breaker pack averages about 2.4: at least one base Chrome Prospect Autograph (1:1), about 0.8 from five Breaker-only parallels and about 0.6 from the shared ladders. Breaker packs also get the Geometric Refractors (about 2.2 a pack) but no paper cards and little of the numbered Chrome and insert ladders.
Topps' product page says Bowman Variety Packs, with Gum Ball, Sunflower Seeds and Pop Corn refractors, are exclusive to hobby boxes. The sheet has no lines for them, so the Gumball, Peanuts, Popcorn and Sunflower Seeds Refractors in our data (Chrome base and Chrome Prospect Autographs) can't be counted, and neither can the Sapphire and Mega Box lines.

The checklist
Topps' checklist runs 886 player lines in 26 sections; two of them, Dream Draft Picks and its Autograph Variation, are headings with nothing under them. Topps' product page describes "a special Dream Draft Pick card" imagining a legendary athlete, once drafted by an MLB club, in an alternate baseball timeline, and the sheet's lines for it fit a single card.
The base set is 200 cards, Eli Willits at BD-1 to Kane Kepley at BD-200, on paper and again on Chrome (BDC-1 to BDC-200) with the same players. Our data marks 124 of them as 1st Bowman cards, among them Willits, Xavier Neyens, Kade Anderson, Seth Hernandez, Gavin Fien, Ike Irish, JoJo Parker and Tyler Bremner; Max Clark, Travis Bazzana, Konnor Griffin, Charlie Condon and Jesús Made are among the 76 that aren't.
- Variations: Etched in Glass (20, all 1st Bowman in our data), Image Variations (10), Chrome Prospect College Variations (10) and Retrofractor Variations (Sadaharu Oh, BD-201, and Lou Brock, BD-202).
- Inserts: Bowman In Action (28), Axis, Prized Prospects and Final Draft (20 each), Crystalized and Bowman Spotlights (15 each) and Bowman Draft Night (10).
- Autographs: Chrome Prospect Autographs (Topps' checklist calls them Chrome Prospect Autograph Variation), 102 signers, 101 of them 1st Bowman Chrome autographs in our data (all but Kepley); the Gold Ink Variation (75 of the same signers); Draft Prospect Portrait Autographs (41, all Chrome Prospect Autograph signers too); Achromatic Autographs (28); Bowman In Action Autographs (15); Prospect Dual Autographs (14 cards, with Willits, Billy Carlson and Hernandez on three each); Prized Prospects Autographs (9); 2025 Draft Lottery Ping Pong Ball Autographs (7: Willits, Gavin Kilen, Anderson, Liam Doyle, Hernandez, Steele Hall and Bremner); Bowman Draft Night Autographs (5: Willits, Fien, Anderson, Hernandez and Neyens); Image Variations Autographs (5); and the Retrofractor Autograph Variation (one card, Oh).
The paper base ladder
Odds per pack; the runs are the ones in our data, since Topps prints none. No paper card is in Breaker packs. "In packs" adds up hobby and Super Jumbo, against what the run would make on all 200 cards:
| Parallel (run in our data) | Hobby | Super Jumbo | In packs (about) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base | 1:1 | 1:1 | see below |
| Sky Blue /499 | 1:15 | 1:4 | 93,900 of 99,800 (94%) |
| Blue Border /150 | 1:50 | 1:14 | 27,800 of 30,000 (93%) |
| Green /99 | 1:75 | 1:20 | 18,800 of 19,800 (95%) |
| Gold /50 | 1:148 | 1:40 | 9,480 of 10,000 (95%) |
| Orange /25 | 1:208 | - | 4,770 of 5,000 (95%) |
| Red /5 | 1:1,476 | 1:394 | 954 of 1,000 (95%) |
| Black 1/1 | 1:7,357 | 1:1,980 | 191 of 200 |
| Printing Plates (four 1/1s per card) | 1:1,843 | 1:493 | 764 of 800 (95%) |
Every tier spreads over the same 200 cards, so if the runs are right, run times hobby odds should come out about the same on each. Sky Blue is 499 times 15, or 7,485; Blue Border 7,500, Green 7,425, Gold 7,400, Red 7,380 and the one-of-one Black 7,357, all within 2 percent, and Super Jumbo agrees (1,970 to 2,100). A wrong run would stick out (a Sky Blue /250 would give 3,750), so the runs hold. The hobby-only Orange comes to 5,200; on the shared tiers about 70 percent of the copies come from hobby and 30 percent from Super Jumbo. A numbered paper parallel falls about once every 8.9 hobby packs (1.3 a box) and once every 2.5 Super Jumbo packs (two a box).

The Chrome ladder
Odds per pack for the Chrome base cards and their parallels:
| Parallel (run in our data) | Hobby | Super Jumbo | Breaker | In packs (about) |

| Yellow and Yellow Reptilian /75 | 1:100 | 1:27 | 1:314 | 14,200 of 15,000 each (94%) |
| Gold Refractor /50 | 1:149 | 1:40 | 1:475 | 9,510 of 10,000 (95%) |
| Bowmanfractor /35 | 1:213 | 1:57 | 1:680 | 6,660 of 7,000 (95%) |
| Orange Refractor /25 | 1:208 | - | - | 4,770 of 5,000 (95%) |
| Black Refractor and Black X-Fractor /10 | 1:744 | 1:199 | 1:2,403 | 1,907 of 2,000 each (95%) |
| Red Refractor and Red Lava /5 | 1:1,487 | 1:396 | 1:4,505 | 956 of 1,000 each (96%) |
| SuperFractor 1/1 | 1:7,412 | 1:2,640 | 1:3,604 | 186 of 200 (93%) |
| Printing Plates (four 1/1s per card) | 1:1,860 | 1:495 | 1:6,006 | 764 of 800 (95%) |
In hobby, Purple, Blue, Aqua, Steel Metal and Yellow all come to exactly 7,500 (250 times 30, 150 times 50 and so on), Green to 7,524, Fuchsia Reptilian 7,562, Gold 7,450, Black 7,440, Red 7,435 and the SuperFractor 7,412. The Bowmanfractor (the Bowman LogoFractor in our data) comes to 7,455 at /35, where a /25 would give 5,325 and a /50 10,650. So these runs hold too. The Sparkle Refractor, with no run in our data, has the Fuchsia Reptilian's odds and puts about 188 of each card in packs, like that /199. Breaker packs get under 1 percent of each color but 10 of the 186 SuperFractors. A numbered Chrome color falls about once every 4.9 hobby packs (2.5 a box) and once every 1.3 Super Jumbo packs (3.7 a box); the hobby-only Sky Blue Refractor averages one a hobby box.
The Geometric Refractors (Breaker only)
The Breaker column has a ladder of its own, in no other format:
| Geometric (run in our data) | Breaker | Copies of each card in packs (about) |
|---|---|---|
| Purple /250 | 1:2 | 90 |
| Blue /150 | 1:2 | 90 |
| Aqua /125 | 1:3 | 60 |
| Green /99 | 1:3 | 60 |
| Yellow /75 | 1:4 | 45 |
| Gold /50 | 1:6 | 30 |
| Orange /25 | 1:11 | 16 |
| Black /10 | 1:26 | 7 |
| Red /5 | 1:51 | 3.5 |
That's about 2.2 a Breaker pack. On 200 cards the odds fill about 60 percent of the Blue, Green, Yellow and Gold runs in our data, 66 to 71 percent of the Orange, Black and Red, 48 percent of the Aqua and 36 percent of the Purple. Odds this short are rough (1:2 covers anything from 1:1.5 to 1:2.5), but even at the generous end no tier passes 80 percent, against about 95 on the other ladders, and the Purple /250 shares the Blue /150's printed odds, the Aqua /125 the Green /99's. Topps prints no runs, so either those runs are off, not every card has every Geometric, or part of each run never went into packs.
The variations
Odds per pack:
| Variation | Cards | Hobby | Super Jumbo | Breaker | Copies of each card in packs (about) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Etched in Glass Variation | 20 | 1:372 | 1:100 | 1:1,163 | 190 |
| Image Variations | 10 | 1:425 | 1:114 | 1:1,335 | 334 |
| Chrome Prospect College Variations | 10 | 1:744 | 1:199 | 1:2,403 | 191 |
| Retrofractor Variations | 2 | 1:2,974 | 1:792 | 1:9,009 | 239 |
Each count adds the three formats: for the Etched in Glass, 993,121 hobby packs divided by 372, plus 110,880 divided by 100, plus 36,036 divided by 1,163, is about 3,810 cards, or about 190 for each of the 20. In hobby an Etched in Glass falls about once every 31 boxes, an Image Variation once every 35.
The College Variations and the Retrofractors have their own numbered ladders:
| Tier | College Variations (10) | In packs | Retrofractor Variations (2) | In packs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gold /50 | 1:2,974 | about 478 of 500 | 1:15,048 | 95 of 100 |
| Orange /25 | 1:4,173 | 238 of 250 | 1:21,131 | 47 of 50 |
| Black /10 | 1:7,412 | 192 (see below) | 1:76,394 | 19 of 20 |
| Red /5 | 1:30,095 | 47 of 50 | 1:141,875 | all 10 |
| SuperFractor 1/1 | 1:141,875 | all 10 | 1:993,121 | both |
Hobby odds shown; the counts add in the other formats. The two Retrofractor SuperFractors (Oh and Brock) split one to hobby, one to Super Jumbo.
The inserts
Hobby odds per pack. "Base" is the version with no color:
| Insert | Cards | Base | Refractor /250 | Mini-Diamond /150 | Green /99 | Gold /50 | Orange /25 | Black /10 | Red /5 | SuperFractor 1/1 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Axis | 20 | 1:3 | 1:298 | 1:496 | 1:752 | 1:1,487 | 1:2,083 | 1:7,412 | 1:15,048 | 1:76,394 |
| Prized Prospects | 20 | 1:3 | 1:298 | 1:496 | 1:752 | 1:1,487 | 1:2,083 | 1:7,412 | 1:15,048 | 1:76,394 |
| Bowman Draft Night | 10 | 1:6 | 1:596 | 1:993 | 1:1,503 | 1:2,974 | 1:4,173 | 1:15,048 | 1:30,095 | 1:141,875 |
| Bowman In Action | 28 | 1:12 | - | 1:331 | 1:501 | 1:993 | 1:1,389 | 1:4,966 | 1:10,032 | 1:49,656 |
| Crystalized | 15 | 1:993 | - | - | - | 1:1,987 | 1:2,775 | 1:10,032 | 1:19,863 | 1:99,312 |
| Final Draft | 20 | 1:372 | - | - | - | - | - | - | 1:15,048 | 1:76,394 |
| Bowman Spotlights | 15 | 1:662 | - | - | - | - | - | - | 1:19,863 | 1:99,312 |
The runs are from our data. Super Jumbo packs get the numbered tiers about 3.7 to 3.8 times as often as hobby, and the Axis and Prized Prospects base at 1:1; Breaker packs get them at about a third of the hobby rate, with no insert SuperFractors. Orange is hobby only. Every insert but Bowman In Action (below) fills like the base sets: 94 to 96 percent of each numbered tier, 19 of the 20 Axis, Prized Prospects and Final Draft SuperFractors, all 10 Draft Night and 14 of 15 Crystalized and Spotlights.
The Dream Draft Pick has the longest ladder: base (1:2,974), Refractor (1:4,966), Aqua Lava /199 (1:7,468), Blue /150 (1:10,032), Green /99 (1:15,048), Yellow /75 (1:19,863), Gold /50 (1:30,095), Orange /25 (1:41,380), Red /5 (1:331,040) and SuperFractor (1:993,121). Read as one card, that's 191 Aqua Lavas, 142 Blues, 95 Greens, 72 Yellows, 47 Golds, 24 Oranges, 4 Reds and the SuperFractor in packs, 94 to 96 percent of each run but the Red, which fits a single card.
The autographs
The Chrome Prospect Autographs are the chase, with a full ladder in all three formats:
| Version (run in our data) | Hobby | Super Jumbo | Breaker | In packs (about) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Base | 1:8 | 1:2 | 1:1 | 216,000 (see below) |
| Refractor /499 | 1:34 | 1:9 | 1:6 | 47,500 of 50,898 (93%) |
| Purple Refractor /250 | 1:68 | 1:18 | 1:12 | 23,800 of 25,500 (93%) |
| Aqua Lava Refractor /199 | 1:84 | 1:22 | 1:15 | 19,300 of 20,298 (95%) |
| Blue Refractor /150 | 1:111 | 1:29 | 1:19 | 14,700 of 15,300 (96%) |
| Blue Wave Refractor /150 | 1:110 | 1:29 | 1:19 | 14,700 of 15,300 (96%) |
| Green Refractor /99 | 1:168 | 1:44 | 1:29 | 9,670 of 10,098 (96%) |
| Yellow Refractor /75 | 1:135 | - | - | 7,360 of 7,650 (96%) |
| Sparkle Refractor /71 | 1:231 | 1:61 | 1:40 | 7,020 of 7,242 (97%) |
| Gold Refractor /50 | 1:330 | 1:87 | 1:57 | 4,920 of 5,100 (96%) |
| Gold Wave Refractor /50 | 1:329 | 1:87 | 1:56 | 4,940 of 5,100 (97%) |
| Orange Refractor /25 | 1:397 | - | - | 2,500 of 2,550 (98%) |
| Black Refractor /10 | 1:1,626 | 1:425 | 1:278 | 1,001 of 1,020 (98%) |
| Black X-Fractor /10 | 1:1,642 | 1:430 | 1:280 | 991 of 1,020 (97%) |
| Red Refractor and Red Lava /5 | 1:3,235 | 1:847 | 1:555 | 503 of 510 each (99%) |
| SuperFractor 1/1 | 1:16,019 | 1:4,265 | 1:2,772 | 101 of 102 |
| Printing Plates (four 1/1s per signer) | 1:4,104 | 1:1,077 | 1:707 | 396 of 408 (97%) |
In hobby, run times odds is 16,966 for the Refractor, 17,000 for the Purple, 16,500 for the Gold and Blue Wave, 16,260 for the Black and 16,019 for the SuperFractor. The Sparkle comes to 16,401 at /71; a /75 would give 17,325, above every other tier, so the sheet fits the /71 better. The ladder fills fuller toward the top than the base ladders: 93 percent at the Refractor and Purple, 95 to 97 in the middle, 97 to 99 at the Orange, Blacks and Reds, and 101 of 102 SuperFractors. Per pack, Super Jumbo is about 3.8 times as likely as hobby to hold any given tier and Breaker about 5.8 times; about 61 percent of each shared tier comes from hobby, 26 from Super Jumbo and 13 from Breaker.
Breaker packs also get five parallels of their own:
| Breaker exclusive (run in our data) | Breaker | In packs (about) |
|---|---|---|
| HTA Choice Refractor /150 | 1:3 | 12,000 of 15,300 (79%) |
| Green Lava Refractor /99 | 1:4 | 9,010 of 10,098 (89%) |
| Gold Shimmer Refractor /50 | 1:8 | 4,500 of 5,100 (88%) |
| Orange Wave Refractor /25 | 1:15 | 2,400 of 2,550 (94%) |
| Red X-Fractor /5 | 1:73 | 494 of 510 (97%) |
Rounding alone could move the 1:3 and 1:4 lines 10 to 20 percent either way.
Altogether the sheet puts about 400,000 Chrome Prospect Autographs in packs, about 4,000 of each signer, a little over half of them base versions. It's a rough figure: rounding on the base version's 1:8 and 1:2 alone allows about 370,000 to 440,000 (3,600 to 4,300 a signer), and its Breaker 1:1 is only a floor. A hobby box averages about 2.7 (1.5 base, 1.2 numbered or plates), a Super Jumbo box about 4.3 (2.5 base, 1.8 numbered).

The other autographs, odds per pack:

| 2025 Draft Lottery Ping Pong Ball Autographs (7) | Base 1/1 | 1:248,281 | 1:55,440 | 1:36,036 | all 7 |
The Gold Ink is a /15 (the Willits above is 14/15). The odds put about 953 in packs, 12.7 a signer: 85 percent of a full run on all 75, lower than any autograph tier but the Breaker-only HTA Choice, or about 67 signers' worth at the usual 95 percent.
The Oh Retrofractor Autograph and the Dream Draft Pick autograph share one ladder, with no base version on the sheet: Gold /50 (1:32,037 hobby, 1:8,530 Super Jumbo, 1:5,148 Breaker), Orange /25 (1:39,725, hobby only), Red /5 (1:331,040, 1:110,880, 1:36,036) and a hobby-only SuperFractor at 1:993,121. For one card each, that's 25 Oranges, all five Reds and the SuperFractor in packs.

How many packs the sheet covers
A single-card line settles the hobby column. The Sadaharu Oh Retrofractor Autograph is one card on Topps' checklist, and its SuperFractor is hobby only at 1:993,121: one copy in 993,121 packs, so the hobby run is 993,121 packs. The Dream Draft Pick SuperFractor and its autograph SuperFractor read the same. The other columns are pinned by lines that split a small, known number of one-of-ones across the formats:
| Line | Cards | Hobby | Super Jumbo | Breaker | Copies by format |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dream Draft Pick SuperFractor | 1 | 1:993,121 | - | - | 1 |
| Retrofractor Variations SuperFractor | 2 | 1:993,121 | 1:110,880 | - | 1 + 1 = 2 |
| Bowman Draft Night Autographs SuperFractor | 5 | 1:331,040 | 1:110,880 | 1:36,036 | 3 + 1 + 1 = 5 |
| Draft Lottery Ping Pong Ball Autographs | 7 | 1:248,281 | 1:55,440 | 1:36,036 | 4 + 2 + 1 = 7 |
| Bowman Draft Night SuperFractor | 10 | 1:141,875 | 1:36,960 | - | 7 + 3 = 10 |
| Bowman In Action Autographs SuperFractor | 15 | 1:110,347 | 1:27,720 | 1:18,018 | 9 + 4 + 2 = 15 |
| Achromatic Autographs SuperFractor | 28 | 1:58,419 | 1:15,840 | 1:9,009 | 17 + 7 + 4 = 28 |
| Chrome Prospect Autographs SuperFractor | 102 | 1:16,019 | 1:4,265 | 1:2,772 | 62 + 26 + 13 = 101 |
At these totals every line comes out to whole cards and adds up to its card count (one short for the Chrome Prospect Autographs). Only these totals or their multiples do that, and any multiple puts more one-of-ones in packs than exist: double the Breaker run and the Chrome Prospect Autograph SuperFractor line comes to 114.
So the sheet covers 993,121 hobby packs, 110,880 Super Jumbo packs and 36,036 Breaker packs. At Topps' 12 packs of 32 cards, that's about 82,760 hobby boxes and 31.8 million cards; at 5 packs of 120, 22,176 Super Jumbo boxes and about 13.3 million cards. Breaker stays as packs.
Not every line multiplies out to exactly these totals: one with a few hundred copies, like the Axis Orange (1:2,083, about 477 copies), allows a hobby run up to about 993,600. That 0.05 percent spread is rounding on the sheet, so treat every count here as a central figure.
Not every numbered card is in a pack
The odds put 93 to 96 percent of every numbered paper, Chrome and insert tier in packs (Bowman In Action aside). The one-of-ones show the gap most plainly, since each line counts single cards: 186 of 200 Chrome SuperFractors, 191 of 200 paper Blacks, 101 of 102 Chrome Prospect Autographs and one short on most insert SuperFractors. So about 5 percent of a typical run, and a few one-of-ones, aren't in hobby, Super Jumbo or Breaker packs. Topps doesn't say where they are; the Variety Packs, with no lines on the sheet, are one possibility, a player skipping a tier another. The autographs mostly run fuller (the Chrome Prospect Autographs 93 to 99 percent); the lowest are the Gold Ink (85 percent), the Bowman In Action Autographs (92 percent, Wave to Orange) and the Prospect Dual Autographs (91 percent, Gold and Orange).
The cards with no print run
The pack counts give a count for every line with no serial number in our data: packs divided by odds in each format, added up, divided by the number of cards. A 1:1 line means at least one a pack, so its count is a floor.
| Card | Cards | Copies of each card in packs (about) |
|---|---|---|
| Prospect Dual Autographs | 14 | 84 |
| Bowman In Action Autographs Refractor | 15 | 91 |
| Crystalized | 15 | 95 |
| Prized Prospects Autographs Refractor | 9 | 97 |
| Bowman Draft Night Autographs Refractor | 5 | 98 |
| Bowman Spotlights | 15 | 143 |
| Chrome Sparkle Refractor | 200 | 188 |
| Etched in Glass Variation | 20 | 190 |
| Final Draft | 20 | 190 |
| Chrome Prospect College Variations | 10 | 191 |
| Achromatic Autographs Refractor | 28 | 236 |
| Retrofractor Variations | 2 | 239 |
| Dream Draft Pick Refractor | 1 | 286 |
| Image Variations | 10 | 334 |
| Chrome Sky Blue Refractor | 200 | 414, all in hobby |
| Dream Draft Pick | 1 | 478 |
| Chrome X-Fractor | 200 | 525 |
| Chrome Prospect Autographs, base version | 102 | 2,100 |
| Bowman In Action | 28 | 4,700 (4,390 if the set is 30 cards) |
| Chrome Refractor | 200 | at least 5,520 |
| Chrome base | 200 | at least 5,700 |
| Bowman Draft Night | 10 | 22,500 |
| Axis | 20 | 22,500 |
| Prized Prospects | 20 | 22,500 |
Lines from 1:1 to 1:12 are rough: rounding alone could move the Bowman In Action, Draft Night, Axis and Prized Prospects counts 10 to 15 percent, and the base Chrome Prospect Autograph anywhere from about 1,900 to 2,400.
The paper base, Chrome base and Chrome Refractor are all 1:1 in hobby. Topps gives a hobby pack 32 cards, and every other hobby line adds up to about 1.7 a pack, leaving about 30.3 cards a pack, about 30.1 million across the run, for those three. That's about 150,000 cards of each of the 200 players in hobby packs, paper base, Chrome base and Refractor together. The sheet doesn't split them, so the table's floors are all it guarantees for each. A Super Jumbo pack's 120 cards hold about 3.3 from lines that aren't 1:1, plus five 1:1 lines (the three base versions and the Axis and Prized Prospects base); if the Axis and Prized Prospects take one card each, the base versions get about 114.7 a pack, about 12.7 million cards or 63,600 per player. That's roughly 214,000 of each player across hobby and Super Jumbo, plus at least 180 Chrome base cards each from Breaker.
Several unnumbered lines land where a numbered run would, at the rate the rest of their ladder fills: Crystalized (95 percent of a /100), Spotlights (/150), the Retrofractor Variations (/250), the Dream Draft Pick base and Refractor (/499 and /299), the Achromatic Autographs Refractor (/250) and the Draft Night and Prized Prospects Autographs Refractors (/99, the Image Variations Autographs Refractor's run in our data). No Topps document gives a run for any of them, so that's a pattern, not a fact.

Where the numbers get uneven
- Bowman In Action's numbered lines fit 30 cards, not 28. Topps' checklist and our data list 28 (BIA-1 to BIA-28). On 28 cards every numbered tier puts more copies in packs than its run can make, even at the edge of the sheet's rounding: about 4,280 Mini-Diamonds against 4,200 possible at /150, 286 Blacks against 280, 142 Reds against 140. Yet the SuperFractor line comes to exactly 28 (20 hobby, 8 Super Jumbo). On 30 cards the numbered tiers are 95 percent full and the SuperFractors 28 of 30, like every other insert. Either two cards are missing from the checklist or the numbered lines were built for 30.
- The College Variations Black counts 192. Its odds (1:7,412, 1:1,980, 1:18,018) are the 20-card Axis and Prized Prospects Black lines, and on 10 cards they put 192 in packs, almost twice what a /10 can make. Every other College Variations tier fits 10 cards at about 95 percent, and the 10-card Draft Night Black reads 1:15,048. Either the line was copied or this Black isn't the /10 our data lists.
- The Prospect Dual Autographs SuperFractor counts 15 for 14 cards. Its odds (1:110,347, 1:27,720, 1:18,018) are the 15-card Bowman In Action Autographs SuperFractor's and add up to nine, four and two, while every other Dual tier fits 14 cards (138 of 140 Blacks, 69 of 70 Reds). Fourteen one-of-ones can't make 15.
- The Gold on the Oh and Dream Draft Pick autographs counts 51. The three Gold odds add up to 31, 13 and 7 copies of one card. If it's a /50, like every other Gold in our data, that's one more than exist; the hobby line would need to read about 1:33,104.
- The Geometric runs in our data don't fit. No Geometric tier fills past about 80 percent, and the Purple /250 and Blue /150 share printed odds: a conflict with our runs, not within the sheet.
- Two empty sections. Topps' checklist heads Dream Draft Picks and its autograph with no card under either.
The rarest pulls
The toughest hobby lines are 1:993,121, one copy in the whole hobby run, or one in about 82,760 boxes: the Dream Draft Pick SuperFractor, its autograph SuperFractor and the Oh Retrofractor autograph SuperFractor (all hobby only), and the Retrofractor Variations SuperFractor, whose second copy is in a Super Jumbo pack. Next come the 1:331,040 lines, three hobby copies each (the Dream Draft Pick Red, the Red on both single-card autographs and the Bowman Draft Night Autographs SuperFractor), then the seven Ping Pong Ball Autographs at 1:248,281: four in hobby, two in Super Jumbo, one in Breaker.
Not counting plates, the odds put about 694 one-of-ones in packs: 186 Chrome SuperFractors, 191 paper Blacks, 101 Chrome Prospect Autograph SuperFractors, seven Ping Pong Balls and 209 more SuperFractors. Hobby gets about 475, one every 2,090 packs or 174 boxes. A Chrome Prospect Autograph SuperFractor alone is 1:16,019 hobby packs (about one in 1,335 boxes) and 1:4,265 Super Jumbo packs (one in 853 boxes).
What to watch
We're watching for two more Bowman In Action cards or corrected odds; corrections to the College Variations Black and Dual Autographs SuperFractor lines; the Dream Draft Pick subject; serial numbers on the Geometrics, the Gold Ink, the Sparkle Refractor and the base versions that land near a numbered run; and Variety Pack odds. We'll update this piece if any of that changes.
