2026 Topps Finest Fantastic Four: The Complete Odds, Parallel, and Print Run Breakdown
2026 Topps Finest Fantastic Four released April 15. Topps bills it as a 65th anniversary set, and it mixes Marvel's comic characters with the cast of Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Topps posted the odds sheet March 17: one Hobby column, 158 lines, odds per pack and no print runs. The Superfractors pin the run down anyway: the odds work out to 362,000 hobby packs, or 36,200 boxes. From there the odds give the runs Topps doesn't list, including a /65 tier that shows up on a card, and they point to two things you won't see on the sheet: the autograph odds only work out at a slightly bigger pack count, 367,513, and, if the runs they imply are right, about 5 percent of every numbered color on the base side isn't in packs.

The box
Topps' product page lists 6 cards per pack and 10 packs per box, 60 cards, with one sketch card, autograph or relic per box. The sheet has a single Hobby column, so every figure here is per hobby pack.
The sheet backs up the one hit. Add up every autograph, relic and sketch line and it comes to about 1.02 a box: about 0.82 autographs, 0.19 sketch cards and the relic about once every 123 boxes. The artists account for more of the autographs than the cast: about 0.46 artist autographs a box against 0.36 from the cast, so a cast autograph turns up about once every 2.8 boxes.
What a box holds, adding up the sheet's lines:
| Card | About per box |
|---|---|
| Common base cards | 35.5 |
| Uncommon base cards | 5 |
| Rare base cards | 1 |
| Base Refractors, no color | 2.6 |
| Numbered base colors, Blue to Superfractor | 1.3 |
| Negative Zone variation | 1.1 |
| 1960s Blacklight variation | 1.1 |
| Tribute to Finest '96, any version | 0.5 |
| First Family, Clobberin' Time, Screen Moments, Concept Art and Adversaries | 10 (2 of each) |
| The other 11 inserts | 0.6 |
| Numbered insert parallels | 0.3 |
| Autograph | 0.8 |
| Sketch card | 0.2 |
Topps lists the commons at 1:1, which only says there's at least one in every pack. The 35.5 is what's left of the 60 cards after every other line. If the runs worked out below are right, a box holds about four and a half serial-numbered cards.
The checklist
Topps' checklist runs 31 sections. Not counting parallels or sketch cards, that's 690 cards: the 100-card base set, three 100-card variations of it, 215 insert cards in 16 sets, 10 relics, two cut signatures and 63 autograph cards, counting each dual, triple and quad card once.
The base set is 100 characters in three tiers. The 50 Commons (#1 to #50) open with Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch and The Thing, and include Doctor Doom, Franklin and Valeria Richards, H.E.R.B.I.E. and Spider-Man. The 35 Uncommons (#51 to #85) include Galactus, Silver Surfer, Thanos, Captain America, Iron Man and Doctor Strange. The 15 Rares (#86 to #100) are Ant-Man, Black Panther, The Bombastic Bagman, Crystal, Doomasaur, Ghost Rider, Hulk, Invisible Man, Maker, Malice, Medusa, She-Hulk, Storm, Thor and Wolverine.

All 100 characters come again in three variations: Tribute to Finest '96, which Topps says pairs the base characters with the 1996 Topps Finest Phenoms design, 1960s Blacklight, a Lava Refractor in neon shades, and Negative Zone, with a vortex-like Kaleidoscope pattern.
The inserts:

- Decades Posters, seven, one for each decade from the 1960s to the 2020s.
Under its relic heading Topps lists Comic Excerpts: Silver Surfer (10 cards, from Silver Surfer #1 to #64 plus Thor #193) and Fantastic Creators, cut signatures of Jack Kirby and Stan Lee.
The autographs come from 13 members of the First Steps cast and 29 Marvel comic artists:
- Finest Autographs, all 13 cast members, from Pedro Pascal (Mister Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Human Torch) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing) to Ralph Ineson (Galactus), Paul Walter Hauser (Mole Man) and Natasha Lyonne (Rachel Rozman).
- Fantastic Science Autographs, 12 of them, all but Alex Hyde-White.

- Triple Autographs, one card: Wood (H.E.R.B.I.E.), Niles (Lynne Nichols) and Lyonne.
- Quad Autographs booklets, two: Pascal, Kirby, Moss-Bachrach and Quinn, and Hyde-White, Staab, Underwood and Bailey Smith, whom Topps lists as William Russell, Carolyn Haynes and two Powerplant Workers.
- Marvel Comic Book Artist Autographs, 29 artists, among them Frank Miller, Greg Capullo, Bill Sienkiewicz, Marc Silvestri, Arthur Adams, Mark Bagley, Esad Ribić and Adi Granov.
Nine of the 13 cast members sign four different cards, and the other four sign three. The sketch cards come from 116 artists.
The base set and its color ladder
Odds per pack. Topps doesn't publish runs for this product, on the sheet or on the checklist, so the runs in this table are the ones the odds work out to:
| Version | Run | Common (50) | Uncommon (35) | Rare (15) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Base | - | 1:1 | 1:2 | 1:10 |
| Refractor | - | 1:5 | 1:20 | 1:100 |
| Blue Refractor | /150 | 1:51 | 1:73 | 1:169 |
| Green Refractor | /99 | 1:76 | 1:110 | 1:256 |
| Purple Refractor | /75 | 1:102 | 1:145 | 1:337 |
| Cosmic Ray Refractor | /65 | 1:117 | 1:167 | 1:389 |
| Gold Refractor | /50 | 1:152 | 1:217 | 1:506 |
| Orange Refractor | /25 | 1:304 | 1:434 | 1:1,012 |
| Black Refractor | /10 | 1:759 | 1:1,084 | 1:2,532 |
| Red Refractor | /5 | 1:1,515 | 1:2,168 | 1:5,028 |
| Superfractor | 1/1 | 1:7,542 | 1:10,648 | 1:24,134 |
Within a tier every color is spread over the same cards, so if the runs are right, each color's run times its odds should come out the same. In the Common column, Gold is 50 times 152, or 7,600. Orange is 7,600, Black 7,590, Red 7,575, Cosmic Ray 7,605, Purple 7,650, Blue 7,650 and Green 7,524, all within 1 percent. A wrong run would stick out: a Cosmic Ray at /60 would come to 7,020 and at /70 to 8,190. The Uncommon column runs 10,840 to 10,950 and the Rare column 25,140 to 25,350 the same way. The Human Torch below, a Common, is numbered 01/65, the Cosmic Ray tier.

The Superfractors are the exception. They come to 7,542, 10,648 and 24,134, lower than the colors (about 7,600, 10,850 and 25,300), which means a bigger share of the Superfractors is in packs than of the colors. That's the key to the pack count further down.
A Rare falls 1:10, one a box, and an Uncommon 1:2. A numbered base color of any kind turns up about once a box (1.3), and a base Superfractor about once every 370 boxes.
The variations
Odds per pack. The runs are the ones the odds work out to, as on the base set. The three variations run on all 100 characters, at the same odds color for color:
| Version | Run | Negative Zone | 1960s Blacklight | Tribute to Finest '96 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| No color | - | - | - | 1:40 (/96) |
| Blue | /150 | 1:26 | 1:26 | - |
| Green | /99 | 1:39 | 1:39 | - |
| Purple | /75 | 1:51 | 1:51 | - |
| Gold | /50 | 1:76 | 1:76 | 1:76 |
| Orange | /25 | 1:152 | 1:152 | 1:152 |
| Black | /10 | 1:380 | 1:380 | 1:380 |
| Red | /5 | 1:759 | 1:759 | 1:759 |
| Superfractor | 1/1 | - | - | 1:3,811 |
On the sheet the Negative Zone colors are Kaleidoscopes and the Blacklight colors are Neon Lava Refractors. Neither variation has a plain version on the sheet: every Negative Zone and every Blacklight card is one of the seven colors. Run times odds checks out again: 3,800 for Gold, Orange and Black, 3,795 for Red, and 3,825 to 3,900 for the short Purple, Green and Blue lines, where the rounding is loosest.
Tribute to Finest '96 has a version with no color at 1:40, and the Invisible Woman at the top of this piece is numbered 01/96. 96 times 40 is 3,840, in line with the colors. It has Gold, Orange, Black and Red tiers and a Superfractor, but no Blue, Green or Purple.
The inserts
Odds per pack. The runs in the headers are the ones the odds work out to, not printed ones:

| Astonishing | 10 | 1:160 | - | 1:1,515 | 1:3,811 | 1:7,542 | 1:36,200 |
| Topps Originals | 10 | 1:320 | - | 1:1,515 | 1:3,811 | 1:7,542 | 1:36,200 |
| Power Hour | 10 | 1:1,600 | - | - | 1:3,811 | 1:7,542 | 1:36,200 |
| Flame Throwers | 8 | 1:160 | - | - | - | - | 1:45,250 |
| Rock Stars | 8 | 1:160 | - | - | - | - | 1:45,250 |
| Decades Posters | 7 | 1:400 | - | - | - | - | 1:51,715 |
| All for Four | 22 | 1:4,310 | - | - | - | - | 1:17,239 |
| Future Foundation ID Cards | 10 | 1:583 | - | - | - | - | - |
On Astonishing the three colors are Orange Wave, Black Wave and Red Wave. The five 1:5 inserts add up to one a pack, two of each a box. The colors fit the same runs as the base set: on the 20-card inserts, run times odds is 19,000 for Gold, 18,975 for Orange, 18,960 for Black and 19,055 for Red.

Two inserts have just one numbered version. The Future Foundation ID Cards have a single line, 1:583, and the Susan Storm above is numbered 01/65. At 362,000 packs that's 621 cards, about 62 of each, 95.5 percent of a /65. All for Four has a base version at 1:4,310, which is only 84 cards across 22 characters, about four each. That's 95.5 percent of a /4, the same share, and its Superfractor puts 21 of 22 in packs. The All for Four image we have, a Wolverine, shows no serial number, so treat the /4 as a fit, not a fact; the base version may simply be unnumbered, at about four copies each.
Flame Throwers and Rock Stars have only a Superfractor above the base version, at 1:45,250, eight cards each.

The autographs
Odds per pack. As above, the runs in the headers are worked out from the odds, not printed:
| Set | Cards | Base | Green /99 | Purple /75 | Gold /50 | Orange /25 | Black /10 | Red /5 | Superfractor |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Marvel Comic Book Artist Autographs | 29 | 1:39 | 1:133 | 1:176 | 1:254 | 1:507 | 1:1,268 | 1:2,535 | 1:12,673 |
| Finest Autographs | 13 | 1:59 | 1:413 | 1:409 | 1:613 | 1:1,131 | 1:2,828 | 1:5,655 | 1:28,271 |
| Fantastic Science Autographs | 12 | 1:138 | - | - | - | 1:1,226 | 1:3,063 | 1:6,126 | 1:30,627 |
| Dual Autographs | 6 | 1:1,194 | - | - | 1:1,471 | 1:2,941 | 1:6,126 | 1:12,251 | 1:61,253 |
| Triple Autographs | 1 | 1:7,351 | - | - | - | 1:14,701 | 1:36,752 | 1:73,503 | 1:367,513 |
| Quad Autographs Booklets | 2 | 1:45,940 | - | - | - | - | - | - | 1:183,757 |
| Fantastic Creators (cuts) | 2 | - | - | - | - | - | - | - | 1:183,757 |
The autograph lines run on their own pack count, 367,513 (more on that below), and at that count almost every numbered line is a full run. The Finest Autographs Red at 1:5,655 is 65 cards, 13 signers at /5. The Black is 130 and the Orange 325. On the artist autographs the Red is 145 (29 at /5), the Black 290, the Orange 725 and the Gold 1,450 (29 at /50). The Lucio Parrillo below, numbered 01/10, fits the Black. The single Triple Autographs card works out to exactly 50 base copies, 25 Orange, 10 Black, 5 Red and one Superfractor.

A few lines come up a whole signer short instead:
- Artist autographs, Green and Purple. The Green works out to about 2,765 to 2,785 cards and the Purple to about 2,090 to 2,100, which fit 28 artists at /99 (2,772) and /75 (2,100), not 29. One artist looks to have neither.
- Finest Autographs, Gold and Purple. 600 and 900 cards, 12 signers at /50 and /75, not 13.
- Finest Autographs, Green. About 890 cards, which fits nine signers at /99 (891); no single run shared by all 13 signers comes out there. It's also the one line that runs backward: at 1:413 it's rarer than the Purple at 1:409.
- Dual Autographs, Gold and Orange. 250 and 125 cards, five pairs at /50 and /25, not six. The Black, Red and Superfractor cover all six.
The Quad booklets' base version is 1:45,940, eight copies in all, about four of each booklet. That's scarcer than any numbered tier on the Triple card except the Red and the Superfractor.
The relic, the cuts and the sketch cards
Comic Excerpts: Silver Surfer falls 1:1,232, about 294 cards across the 10, about 29 of each. Apart from the two cuts Topps lists with it, it's the only relic line, about once every 123 boxes.
Fantastic Creators has a Superfractor line and nothing else, 1:183,757 for two cards. So each of the Jack Kirby and Stan Lee cut signatures is a one-of-one, and both are in packs.
The sketch cards fall 1:53, roughly 6,800 to 7,100 in all, an average of about 60 for each of the 116 artists. Each is one of a kind.
How many packs the sheet covers
The Superfractors on the small inserts settle it. Each is one card per character, so if every one of them is in packs, cards times odds is the pack count, and four separate lines agree:
| Line | Cards | Odds | Cards x odds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fantastic Science, Finest Timelines, World's Greatest Comic Magazines, Astonishing, Topps Originals and Power Hour Superfractors | 10 each | 1:36,200 | 362,000 |
| Flame Throwers and Rock Stars Superfractors | 8 each | 1:45,250 | 362,000 |
| Decades Posters Superfractor | 7 | 1:51,715 | 362,005 |
| Base Rare Superfractor | 15 | 1:24,134 | 362,010 |
This sheet rounds up, not to the nearest pack. At 362,000 packs, 34 Uncommon Superfractors would be one every 10,647.1 packs, and the sheet prints 1:10,648. The All for Four Superfractor, 21 cards, would be 1:17,238.1, and it prints 1:17,239. Rounded up, the four lines in the table only fit 361,999 or 362,000 packs, and 362,000 is the one that makes whole boxes.
So the sheet covers 362,000 hobby packs, or 36,200 boxes, about 2.17 million cards. At that count every base-side line longer than 1:300 comes out to a whole number of cards, from the 48 Common, 34 Uncommon and 15 Rare Superfractors to the 477 Common Black Refractors. The one exception is the Power Hour base version, printed as a round 1:1,600.
The autograph lines don't fit 362,000. They fit their own count:
| Line | Cards | Odds | Cards x odds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Triple Autographs Superfractor | 1 | 1:367,513 | 367,513 |
| Quad Autographs Booklets Superfractor | 2 | 1:183,757 | 367,514 |
| Fantastic Creators Superfractor | 2 | 1:183,757 | 367,514 |
| Dual Autographs Superfractor | 6 | 1:61,253 | 367,518 |
| Marvel Comic Book Artist Autographs Superfractor | 29 | 1:12,673 | 367,517 |
| Finest Autographs Superfractor | 13 | 1:28,271 | 367,523 |
| Fantastic Science Autographs Superfractor | 12 | 1:30,627 | 367,524 |
Rounded up, these allow exactly 367,513, and at that count every autograph line on the sheet is a whole number of cards. The Finest Autographs Red shows the rounding: 65 cards in 367,513 packs is one every 5,654.05, printed 1:5,655. At 362,000 the autograph lines stop working: the Triple Superfractor would be 0.985 of a card.
That's 5,513 more packs than the base side, about 1.5 percent, and 367,513 doesn't divide into whole boxes. Topps doesn't say why the two halves of its sheet use different pack counts. For a collector it changes little. This piece uses 362,000 packs for boxes and for the base, variation and insert cards, and 367,513 for the autographs, since those are the only counts that make each half's lines whole. If the autographs were really spread over 362,000 packs, each in-pack autograph count here would come out about 1.5 percent lower.
Not every numbered card is in a pack
At the runs worked out above, if every numbered color on the base side were in packs, the colors would describe about 379,500 packs (7,590 times 50 on the Common Black, for one). The Superfractors say there are 362,000. So, if those runs are right, about 95 percent of every numbered run on the base side is in packs. The three runs a card confirms point the same way: the /65 Cosmic Ray, the /65 Future Foundation ID Cards and the /96 Tribute to Finest '96 all come out at 94 to 97 percent in packs.
| Tier | Base set (100 cards) | Variations | Inserts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blue /150 | about 14,200 to 14,400 of 15,000 | about 27,800 to 29,000 of 30,000 | - |
| Green /99 | about 9,470 to 9,570 of 9,900 | about 18,600 to 19,100 of 19,800 | - |
| Purple /75 | about 7,120 to 7,180 of 7,500 | about 14,200 to 14,500 of 15,000 | - |
| Cosmic Ray /65 | about 6,190 to 6,230 of 6,500 | - | - |
| Gold /50 | about 4,765 to 4,790 of 5,000 | about 14,300 to 14,500 of 15,000 | about 4,770 of 5,000 |
| Orange /25 | about 2,385 of 2,500 | about 7,150 to 7,190 of 7,500 | about 3,580 of 3,750 |
| Black /10 | 954 of 1,000 | about 2,860 of 3,000 | 1,525 of 1,600 |
| Red /5 | 478 of 500 | 1,431 of 1,500 | 763 of 800 |
| Superfractor 1/1 | 97 of 100 | 95 of 100 | 199 of 205 |
Every tier from Blue to Red lands at 93 to 97 percent, most at 95 to 96. The Superfractors run a little fuller: 48 of 50 Commons, 34 of 35 Uncommons, all 15 Rares, 95 of 100 Tribute to Finest '96, 19 of 20 on each 1:5 insert, 21 of 22 All for Four, and all of them on the 10-, 8- and 7-card inserts. The sheet doesn't say where the other 5 percent go.
The autographs are different. At 367,513 packs no autograph tier comes up short by a percentage; where a line is short, it's short by whole signers:
| Tier | In packs | If every signer had it |
|---|---|---|
| Green /99 | about 3,660 | 4,158 |
| Purple /75 | about 3,000 | 3,150 |
| Gold /50 | about 2,300 | 2,400 |
| Orange /25 | 1,500 | 1,525 |
| Black /10 | 610 | 610 |
| Red /5 | 305 | 305 |
| Superfractor 1/1 | 65 | 65 |
The gaps are the ones above: one artist without Green or Purple, one Finest Autographs signer without Gold or Purple, four without Green (if the Green is a /99), and one dual without Gold or Orange. The Superfractor row includes the two Fantastic Creators cuts.
The cards with no print run
Copies of each card, at 362,000 packs for the base side and 367,513 for the autographs. Because the sheet rounds up, the printed odds give the low end, and the short lines leave the most room:
| Card | Cards | Odds | Copies of each card |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quad Autographs Booklets | 2 | 1:45,940 | about 4 (8 in all) |
| All for Four | 22 | 1:4,310 | about 4 (84 in all), fits /4 |
| Power Hour | 10 | 1:1,600 | about 23 (226 in all) |
| Comic Excerpts: Silver Surfer | 10 | 1:1,232 | about 29 (294 in all) |
| Triple Autographs | 1 | 1:7,351 | 50 |
| Dual Autographs | 6 | 1:1,194 | about 51 (308 in all) |
| Future Foundation ID Cards | 10 | 1:583 | about 62 (621 in all), numbered /65 |
| Tribute to Finest '96 | 100 | 1:40 | about 91 to 93, numbered /96 |
| Topps Originals | 10 | 1:320 | about 113 |
| Decades Posters | 7 | 1:400 | about 129 |
| Fantastic Science Autographs | 12 | 1:138 | about 222 to 224 |
| Astonishing | 10 | 1:160 | about 226 to 228 |
| Base Rare Refractor | 15 | 1:100 | about 241 to 244 |
| Flame Throwers, Rock Stars | 8 each | 1:160 | about 283 to 285 |
| Marvel Comic Book Artist Autographs | 29 | 1:39 | about 325 to 333 |
| Fantastic Science, Finest Timelines, World's Greatest Comic Magazines | 10 each | 1:80 | about 453 to 458 |
| Finest Autographs | 13 | 1:59 | about 479 to 487 |
| Base Uncommon Refractor | 35 | 1:20 | about 517 to 544 |
| Base Common Refractor | 50 | 1:5 | about 1,450 to 1,810 |
| Base Rare | 15 | 1:10 | about 2,400 |
| First Family, Clobberin' Time, Screen Moments, Concept Art, Adversaries | 20 each | 1:5 | about 3,600 to 4,500 |
| Base Uncommon | 35 | 1:2 | about 5,200 |
| Base Common | 50 | 1:1 | up to about 25,700 |
The base set has no exact line for its commons, so their count is what's left of each 6-card pack after every other line on the sheet: about 3.55 commons a pack, plus half an uncommon and a tenth of a rare. That's about 1.5 million base cards in all, about 41.5 a box. The 1:2 and 1:10 lines could be rounded, so the uncommon and rare figures are approximate, and any extra would come out of the commons. That makes 25,700 the most the sheet allows.
The scarcest cards with no print run are the Quad booklet base versions, about four of each, and All for Four at about four each if it isn't a /4. After them comes the Power Hour base at about 23 of each. Of the autographs, the base Finest Autograph is the most common cast card at about 480 per signer, and the artist autograph base line is the most common autograph line in the product, about 9,400 to 9,700 cards in all, about one every four boxes.
The rarest pulls
The toughest line on the sheet is the Triple Autographs Superfractor at 1:367,513: one copy of the Wood, Niles and Lyonne card in the whole run.
Next, at 1:183,757, are the two Quad booklet Superfractors and the two Fantastic Creators cuts, Jack Kirby and Stan Lee, each a one-of-one. Either line comes about once in 18,400 boxes' worth of packs.
After those come the Triple Autographs Red /5 (1:73,503), the Dual Autographs Superfractor (1:61,253), the Decades Posters Superfractor (1:51,715, seven cards, one per decade) and the Quad booklet base version (1:45,940). The Flame Throwers and Rock Stars Superfractors, eight each, fall 1:45,250, about one in 4,500 boxes.
Across the product the odds put 456 one-of-ones in packs: 391 Superfractors on the base side and 65 on the autographs, cuts included. That's about one every 79 boxes. A base set Superfractor alone is about one every 370 boxes.
What to watch
The things we're watching: serial numbers on the base colors (so far only the /65 Cosmic Ray is confirmed on a card) and on the Negative Zone and Blacklight colors; whether All for Four is numbered /4; which artist has no Green or Purple autograph, which Finest Autographs signers have no Gold, Purple or Green, and which dual has no Gold or Orange; and why the autograph half of the sheet runs on a different pack count. We'll update this piece if any of that changes.
